Just run him close to the outsides and not over the middle.

Im mentally preparing myself for him to have a similar availability to deion branch, which id totally take. Often banged up but available at all the right times , he freaking balled out in the playoffs especially super bowls

I'm not sure about Philly yet, haven't seen much of them, but I think there is a clear separation after Buffalo and KC. Looks to me like there are a lot of mediocre/average football teams this year and quite a few really bad teams.
At least rn Phila is very good. Top 5-10 QB & OL. They have a borderline great group of targets and RB. They can rush the passer with almost anyone and have a nice secondary. Don't see too many mistakes on either side.
I'm not even sure I'd put KC up there. They're 26th in scoring defense (though they are #1 in scoring offense).
Health is playing a part in this for some teams but after Phila and Buffalo there's a decent gap. If Buffalo ever found a real running game they would be lethal.

This Monday could be a perfect return spot for mac. If we control this game as we should its a nice warm up game for the jets next week which is looking like a big matchup.

That is, as long as hes not being rushed back

I remember what an excellent route runner Deion Branch was. Thornton does have some quick twitch to his game to go along with that Elite speed: he has the potential to be a very dangerous Offensive player. One of those Elite Offensive players OC's dream about.

I wished we had Pursued Von Miller jn FA imagine him with Judon they would be a nightmare for any Offense. I think the difference in knowing if we can compete with the Buffalo's and Chiefs of the NFL is going be the play of our Defense. I really hope one of those young guys ie... Jennings or Raekwon McMillan step up. IF we lose Judon for any amount of time we're in trouble. That said D Wise have been very solid this year seems like a breakout year for him.

If Buffalo get's Christian McCaffrey and he stays heathy for the playoffs run the NFL should just hand them the Lombardi yeah yeah I know that's why they play the games. I don't think BB could develop a scheme to beat that Buffalo Team at full health and yeah I said BB who's the best Defensive mind in the game.

The Patriots' are really set at OG for atleast next year that said I would be in extension talks with Micheal Onwenu now what a Draft find.

I believe IF they are going to give Mac his Starting job back he needs a game to brush the rust off. I wouldn't want him coming back on the road against the Jets which doesn't look like a gimme game now. IF he can go let him play against Chicago if he struggles to move the Offense unlike Zappe then Houston we have a problem.

From his college tapes into the preseason it was noticeable that they were going to run him "wherever" and not consider him a one-trick pony... and he showed the ability to play that way. The idea that the collarbone injury would be preventable if he had more muscle to pad his collarbones, for example, might be an unrealistic expectation for anybody.

In that "Return of the Mac" video, when he is in the tux, does he kind of remind you of the bad guy liquid metal terminator from T2? Here's a link, it would obnoxiously fill the whole screen if posted here.

What are the units here? I don't understand any columns after the records.

I hope this leak makes Mac more comfortable sitting out if he's not 100% by Monday. If he doesn't feel ready he doesn't feel rushed because he wants to keep his job. He better be completely healthy if he's going to play against the Bears.
I agree that Mac should not rush back and not put his health in jeapardy. At the time of the injury, pre Zappe, how Mac handled injuries was thought to be a big test for his development. To be a top teir QB he has to be effective when he isn't 100%. If the coaches feel that Mac is the starter, this is a good test against a poor defense. Picking the starter for this game is complicated.

We haven't seen that Mac thus far in 2022 he's been on a milk carton.

I think Mac comes back fired up to prove why he's the right guy for the job. If not or if he struggles, then he's clearly not the guy.
