Despite the sloppy ball in Cleveland they still looked good, but you have to take into consideration how terrible the Browns are. Nevertheless, you're still dueling vs NFL caliber talent.Just gotta keep trying to stack wins... See what works and what doesn't, be better than at least 9 other AFC teams at the end of the season and hopefully have your identity sorted out by then and try to win a few more.
I have no idea who this Michel Jordan is that you are referencing. Never heard of her.MJ? Michael Jordan are we talking about the same sport here??
A team that has lost 3 games by less than 3 points and won all the rest is terrible? That is a different definition of terrible. These Pat's have a lot of room for improvement. This team kinda remind me of the 2001 squad.
MIA wasn't even close to being the 2nd best team ever.Last time I attended a Bears/Pats game was in New Orleans for the superbowl. Even when the Pats went up 3-0 you could tell there was a VAST difference between the talent of the 2 teams. That Bears team, IMHO was the best NFL team of the superbowl era by far. They DESTROYED every playoff team they faced. It was no contest in any of them.
Those Miami frauds of only played 12 regular season games and 2 playoff games Of those 14 games only 5 per played against teams with winning records. They weren't NEARLY as good as those 85 Bears. Hard to believe just 3 years later they were out of the playoffs and would be for more than a decade.
If Mac played for CHI, I suspect that he wouldn't be producing any better than Fields.Remember the debate on whether we should trade up for Fields? Good times…
So, because the Bears suck, we should have Jones start and be more likely to re-injure himself? If Mac is only 85% the extra week will do wonders for him. Let that ankle heal even more.
Zappe should start as the Bears suck. I just hope they don't overlook them--this team can't afford to overlook anyone.
If his footwork is messed up it may take going to the House for some coaching during the bye week to get him ready to start again.I think we won't see Jones until after the BYE week.

Hoping to get Guy back this week, if so, then perhaps we can rest Barmore another week and have him hopefully ready for the Jets:
I agree.Better stick with Zappe. I don't want to see a hobbled Mac throwing picks on MNF. Very winnable game. Lets Go!
Patriot signing:
Nice can we add this young athletic talent to our 53? Or is he gonna be stuck on the practice squad while 37 year old BUM Brian Hoyer steals millions from the patriots with his wasted roster spot
Yes, he was added to our 53 earlier today.Patriot signing:

I wrote the exact opposite. I wrote let Mac sit, Zappe should start. So, because the Bears suck, we should have Jones start and be more likely to re-injure himself?
Hey I only got the facts wrong. So stop beating me up. I liked my version better. It sold the point I was trying to make better. Besides Ben Volin told me it was OK to change the facts to fit my narrative.Miami played 14 regular season games and 3 post season games to go 17-0. I was there.
I should check out Chicago. Lucky for Chicago tourism, leaving with my life is low on my list of priorities when choosing a vacation destination.Did a road trip to watch the Pats-Bears gsme with a couple of high school buddies the last time they played them on the road. Had a blast. As most here will recall, they came within two yards of blowing their lead on a Trubisky Hail Mary. Patterson dominated at kickoff returner, including taking one to the house. Sony injured his knee and Patterson had to fill-in as a running back a couple of weeks later because they were so thin due to injuries and did a great job. That’s when he first showed signs that he had legitimate skills as a running back at the NFL level.
Chicago is a great city, other than the corrupt and/or incompetent Dem politicians and the high risk of being car-jacked and/or murdered.
At least if we drafted Fields we wouldn't be in this QB controversy. Zappe would already be the undisputed starter.Agreed. Some people still think we should have drafted Fields, even after all of the evidence that supports this Bill's decision to take the vastly superior QB decision. I can't believe that Mac vs Fields is the big QB controversy that's taking over the this week.

Where will you go when Jimmy Mac loses his job in the near future? So with MJ back this week, we will see a return of our passing attack for the first time in 4 weeks. A few things I will be interested to see:
1. MJ has been an absolute monster in the deep passing game this season (most deep passes completed, most deep passing yards accumulated, etc) despite a shaky start to the season for the OL. Now that the OL has stabilized, as it always does in October, I'm excited to see just how dominant this deep passing attack will be. Chicago actually has a very good secondary, but I expect MJ will shred them mercilessly.
2. Tyquan Thornton has been getting open fairly consistently, even deep down the field, but has had no one with an arm who could take advantage of him. He could have a huge breakout game here with MJ back.
3. The running attack has been dominant these last 3 games even without the threat of a passing game. Now that we can have more balance, the running game should be even potent.
4. Matt Patricia has been brilliant since week 2. He's already better than Josh McDaniels. Combine that with the stabilization of the OL and MJ's return, and I can't wait to see his creativity this week and what he has up his sleaze. He will no longer be handcuffed like he has been the last 3 games.
It's good to have our boy back. The sky is the limit for this team.
