I'll hold no malice towards anyone talking up players like those 3. It's tough enough trying to objectively figure out who's the best at a single position. It's impossible to make a definitive call on greatest player.

I agree. It's silly to get upset about it, especially because Deion and Tomlinson both said that Brady is indisputably the best quarterback of all time. In fact, Deion said, "he was the best coming into the this game, this just puts him that much further ahead."

For example, look at Jerry Rice. In my opinion, no receiver is in the same stratosphere of Jerry Rice. He is like a million miles ahead of every other WR to play the game. He is without contemporary. I would be okay with someone calling him the GOAT player, and Brady the GOAT QB, and I wouldn't be offended. Jerry Rice has 22,000 career receiving yards. Second-highest is 15,000. He has the most receiving TD of all-time at 197 -- second place is Moss, at 156. Rice basically lapped the field. Brady is the best QB, but I don't think he's miles ahead of Montana (which is true of Rice).

Anyway, I think you could very arguably make a case that Brady is the GOAT player. However, it's silly to get upset about people not believing it's unanimous. That's just unreasonable.

Once the Patriots won the coin toss for overtime, I doubt even 1% of the country thought the Falcons were going to win that game.

All those people who like to argue that momentum doesn't exist just got an education on how real it is.

Whether you call it emotion or momentum, is it clearly part of the game, as was shown tonight.

I've been a huge Cannon supporter since the Pats drafted him.. Thought that he topped out as the swing tackle, but wow. Scarnecchia and he put the time in and turned his career around.. Hopefully, Scar can work some magic with Mason..
