Yeah no replays was odd.... with no replays on either. How do we keep getting these penalties called on running plays?

Don't waste your breath. It was horrific to him because being a bad call gives his patriot suck mantra more life. He is a troll and not a patriot fan.Horrific? Dude gtfo of my face. I called that **** from the first replay I saw
That was a horrific call...come on man. Atlanta isn't invincible but they are going to just go off on O. Brady will need to be superman...then some.
Excellent avatar. There's some atrocious tendencies on this defense that still haven't been fixed.
I get it, "a win is a win" - nobody argues otherwise. But man, there's no need to sugar-coat and constantly excuse the concerning play of the defense. It doesn't project well going forward.
AT WORST, thats an incomplete pass call. The fact that the pats got possession of the ball is just an utter embarrassment. Having said that, its an officiating issue, not a patriots issueWhy?
Exactly. It was obvious what the call should be from the very first replay. Although I was surprised they actually had the balls to make the right callI called the reversed Jets TD on the first replay before the review. The runner lost control of the ball before crossing the plane and didn't regain control until he was already out of bounds.
The officials' review replay simply verified the call.
The only "controversy" is whether Eagle and Fouts were being disingenuous or are really that stupid.
Lol. Im a pats fan but that was one of the most horrific calls ive ever seen

Also the 2 defensive holding calls on running plays on the very same drive.
What are you taking about? He ran like 9 steps after he caught the ball and before he FUMBLED.AT WORST, thats an incomplete pass call. The fact that the pats got possession of the ball is just an utter embarrassment. Having said that, its an officiating issue, not a patriots issue
Under no rules or parameters in the game of American Football at any level of competition, can that be considered an incomplete pass.AT WORST, thats an incomplete pass call. I dont give a flying f**k about any stupid breakdowns of the play, if you were a fan of any other team but the pats there is no chance you would think that was the right call..The ball is clearly hanging in mid-air, possessed by nobody, as it breaks the plane.
Football Zebras:
Patriots at Jets (video). Jets tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins scored what appeared to be a clear touchdown. On review, not only was the touchdown reversed, the ball went to the Patriots on a touchback.
Seferian-Jenkins bobbles the ball at the 1-yard line and subsequently re-controls the ball. The bobble makes the ball a “loose ball” under the rules. Any loose ball (which includes passes) follow the catch process to establish possession. It may seem like an arbitrary designation, but this is a clear way to bookend loose ball calls by keeping all loose balls consistent, no matter how they occur. Seferian-Jenkins is going to the ground as he regains control of the ball, and lands out of bounds in the end zone. This takes the ball, still considered loose, out of bounds in the end zone, which is a touchback and loss of possession.
It seems like a very harsh call to go against the offense, but this is consistent with all other rules regarding the end zone. This has been reviewed by the Competition Committee in the past, and they have deferred on making changes to an offensive fumble out of the end zone being ruled touchback.

Nope. Correct call by the replay officials. More than anything, I'm surprised that they got it right.
