Any injury news on Andrews? He looked gimpy on his left leg at the end of the game.

Brady has to be the MVP. The writers can't give it to anyone else if they wanted to. No gurley
Of course they could. They might not be correct to do so, but they certainly CAN do it. Brady hasn't exactly set the world on fire the past 5 weeks. People tend to remember the recent stuff better. Plus, he's pretty much hated outside of NE.

Agree completely.

This is really a no name DL as none were high picks other than Brown.

Don't forget the Pats picked up Ricky Jean Francois. I read something that despite his injury, Alan Branch has really helped RJF get a grasp of the playbook. It has helped a lot. I would LOVE to add Uncle Phil back to the DL rotation.

I hope Brady develops some good rapport with Cooks and Dorsett in the offseason, so that they can get on the same page.

They'll need to because I question whether both the WRs are really good at tracking deep balls.

Both of them appeared to misjudge throws downfield. Dorsett's drop was inexplicable.

Hey Decker you have to catch that!

How does buffalo absolutely DECIMATE Miami in Miami, but the patriots go there and look like a junior high team....

I don’t know what qualifies them as no names? Their front has been good all year. Today was a you better be good type of day. Minimal safety help and all assets clogging the box, they looked good, strength of the D in my opinion.

I hope they do deny him the MVP. And I hope every sportswriter says he’s in decline, falling off a cliff, playing like a 40 y/o, etc. I can imagine a better motivator, even for the ultracompetitive Tom Brady.

Guy was JAG, Butler a UDFA, and Wise a late rd. Pick. Branch is a journeyman who missed a lot of time abd Brown is the only one with a high pick attached to him. Flowers is the only one who teams scheme for. I love it but it’s not like they are highly touted.

Postgame radio, Our station ....PFW....and callers, Pats basically sucked, only won by 20, defense allowed big plays...
(oh yea, Seahawks lost, rams, eagles, ravens, jags, and saints). Pats lucked out again and won by 20.
A caller...talk me off the ledge about Pats defense after jets game.....

How did Gilmore look I didn't get to watch the game had to work today.

Do we know yet if we will play the Saturday night game or the Sunday afternoon game?

Once again our New England Patriots will be among the great 8 with potential for greater things to come.

Solid performance by the defense to not allow a TD through the game despite another slow start. The offense seemed to play with a foot on the break trying not to expose Gronk to any unnecessary shots. Not really much to learn from this game except that Harrison looked better than expected.

The one thing to note is that Josh & co are still desperately trying to get Cooks involved more than just on his usual routes but something just keeps going wrong almost every time. The one time the screen worked it went immediately for 8 yards. Unfortunately other times a blocker screws up, Cooks doesnt cleanly catch the ball or simply takes the wrong route away from blockers and ends up stopped by the first defender.

At this point I am not sure we will see much of that this season anymore. The postseason might be the wrong time to risk wasting 1-2 drives by continuing to run those at the current success rate. Might as well scrap them and try again next year from scratch.

Happy the regular season is over and the real deal begins..
