Except for some uncharacteristic weird plays, and one awful mistake by Karras, I thought the game was solid. Good win, on to Buffalo!

I hope Krafty Bob is enjoying his new turf field as Ebner needs a new knee...

They may be the only team to do it in the past couple of years. I know MIN did it in 5-6 straight at some point in ‘16 or ‘17, but not sure about 7 straight.

I feel like Rowe is in the witness protection program because I never hear his name. Is he still recovering from the hamstring injury?

Just got back home.

Although it was a bit sloppy, a great win.

Hopefully the injury situation is not so bad.

Could've sworn it was Patriots and Skins with worst gameday traffic. How'd you get home that quick?

A win is a win, may not have been the prettiest, but I'll take a division win anytime!!! Our 7th win in a row as well.

Dion was great today as was our D!!!!! We put tremendous pressure on Miami...going to have to monitor the injuries though.

Let's discuss!!!
What wasn’t pretty? It was a thrashing.

nice to see last of the “useless“ joining the party - yep, Dorsett

Not only the big catch . also some healthy blocking again

and next guy from the street plug in and make plays: Lee

Groin.

I'm honestly surprised that he's got a chance to come back, I thought he was done for when he hurt it again.

I only have some normal Pats fan nitpicking. Obviously I am happy with the blowout win against a division opponent

but

Despite Brady's stat line, I think he was sloppy. Missed a few throws, wasn't particularly accurate on several throws, and the INT was just bad. Fumble wasn't his fault though

Dislike the decision to not kick field goals when we have a solid lead. At that point, any points just put it further out of reach.

Lots of injuries, and that sucks
TB is dealing with a Achilles issue, which is very painful. Also besides getting pummeled to hell, it looked like he hurt his throwing hand, sometime in the 1st half?, I think.

An interesting tidbit that Eagle mentioned is that, going into the game, the Pats were 7th in the league in terms of getting pressure on the QB even though they didn't have a lot of sacks..

The Good:
7 sacks by the Patriots.
Lewis with a ridiculous YPC today.. 7.467 YPC.. At one point it was over 11 YPC
Burkhead with a receiving TD and a Running TD
Gilmore with 2 Interceptions to kill Miami drives. Sorry Harmon, but the last one was all Gilmore.
The Pats forcing fumbles. They should have had 3.. I can't remember a game where they were tomahawking the ball so much.
Gronk for 2 TDs.
Phillip Dorsett with a clutch reception early and then great run blocking later.
Welcome Eric Lee.. Great game by the newcomer late in the game.

The Bad:
The Refs were horrible and missed 5 huge calls..
- That was most certainly a strip by Flowers.. Should not have been called back..
- Brady got gut punched by Cameron Wake in the 1st quarter on a "hit"
- On the punt where Amendola fumbled, the "defender" hit him in the facemask. That's what caused the fumble.
- Suh took down Lewis, plain as day, by the facemask, uncalled
- in the 3rd quarter, the refs missed a big block in the back that allowed Miami to get downfield.

Ted Karras with a bad snap that led to a fumble and 6 points for Miami
The Short Yardage play-calling. They had a 3rd and short and 4th and short and both times they got stopped hard.. It was really bad..

The UGLY:
Patriots had 5 players go down to injury:
Ebner - Looked to me like he might have torn his ACL.
Van Noy - Looked like it might have been a cramp, but they were messing with his achilles as well.
Trey Flowers - Some sort of leg issue.
Waddle - Looks like he aggravated his knee/ankle issues
Trevor Reilly - He'll be in the concussion protocol. Hopefully, his seasons isn't done the way Ryan Griffin's is..

Marquis Flowers went down as well, but returned later.

All the late hits on Brady that went uncalled.
- Wake gut punching Brady
- Wake driving Brady into the ground.

Bobby McCain's punch. Totally uncalled for. Glad they kicked him.

You think he was on top of it and Brady didn't know what he was doing?

Not that he didn’t know but that there was a last minute change and it wasn’t effectively communicated. Maybe it was assumed that karras would have known the call like Andrews would.

crabtree-talib in a brawl

Karras, in his 2nd game as the centre, flings one past Brady. Not a hanging offense and he certainly kept alert from there on. It will only be a big deal to the harping masses. Doing fine. Pats win big. Other teams can only wish for similar results.
