The Pats will have to be up something like 42-3 at halftime for everyone to relax. If Atlanta has one virtue, they can score.
That's not true. I can tell. Wife was wringing her hands at half time of the Houston game. I assured her the game was over -- no way the Pats could play two halfs like that.

i have never seen such a 1 sided poll on this site

and i added to the delta!

**** a close game, give me something i can spend half the game gloating about

I'm sick and tired of these nailbiters... it would be nice to have a 90s style "die MF die" game.... but I think the Falcons will give us all we can handle.

I just want a W.

I'm not greedy, I want a Pats victory , period......

Patriots in the BB era have never scored in the 1st quarter of a Super Bowl

Opponents scoring by quarter
1st Q 15 ( 2 FG, 1 safety, 1 TD)
2nd Q 31 (4 TD 1 FG)
3rd Q 23 (2 TD 3 FG)
4th Q 60 ( 8 TD 2 FG )

In six games, a total of 15 points scored in the first quarter or 2.5 points per game for both teams!!!!!

I think we scored in the 1st quarter against the Bears that one year.

That was a mistake.
That was a result of a fumble recovery in Bears territory...and it went down from there................

I am sure we will see the most votes on blowout, but wanted to see if anyone wanted to see a great game.

I personally do not. I want the absolute annihilation and unequivocal crowning of the King.

I want a blowout and the under . . .;)

Come on, Look at Falcons schedule. They lost 5 games and only won like 3 by more than 10 points against 3 of the worst teams. The wins were all very close.
The Patriots will dominate them.

I want it to be a massacre.

A beating so bad, it goes down as the least competitive Super Bowl ever.

I want Brady to shred Atlanta for five....no, make it six touchdown passes.

I don't hate the Falcons, but someone needs to be a scarifical lamb and unfortunately for them, they're it.

I want a blowout but the only reason I don't, is that you know it will be spun as "Well. Atlanta overachieved". Then somehow everyone will discredit the win lol.

Both. A blowout is the greatest game.

A blowout Patriot victory would be nice to throw in the face of all the haters who cling to the notion that Brady (and the BB-era Pats) are not that special since their Super Bowl wins have only been by three or four points.

Pats led the Packers after the 1st quarter of SB 31.

Technically it's not the BB era but he was on the coaching staff....

The last 6 Super Bowls have already taken enough years off of my life. I think Pats nation is due for a nice, decisive win.

That said, the Falcons are probably the most likeable Super Bowl opponent we've had.....so win or lose (or lose or lose badly) I wish them the best!

I know for some of us older guys it is no joke that we need to keep an eye on our health. I am on blood pressure medication and it effects how intently I can watch some games.

The SB game that was won by the Butler interception was one such game that I had to occasionally walk away from.

It would be nice to see a nice, relaxing blowout.

However I want to be able to sit through the game and rewatch it without getting bored over the years.

So you get bored re-watching the butt fumble game?

I don't care if the game is exciting or not, i just want the Pats to win.

Id happily take a Seahawks/Broncos type blowout.

So you get bored re-watching the butt fumble game?

No but i am not expecting that massive level of suck. Also I don't hate the Falcons like I do the Jets. For that kind of game you must delight in the other teams pain more as well as enjoy your team pouring it on.
