Realistically, how far do you think the Patriots will go?

If we were being realistic, there'd be one more option.

I'll always be rooting and hoping, but realistically, we'd need a miracle to reach the Superbowl, let alone win it.

Baltimore, San Diego, Indy or Cincinnati.

If we get by the first two, I think we will be AFC Champions.

I always think the Patriots will win the next game. I am an optimist. I know we have a lot of doom and gloomers on this site and they can wallow in their misery if it makes them happy. I think that the Patriots will go to the Super Bowl and win it. I prefer to be positive. If the Patriots can win the SB with Earthwind Moreland and Troy Brown at DB, then anything can happen. Beat the Ravens first, and then take the next game when it comes.

Goodnight Ravens; goodnight Colts-- if we play them.

If we play the Chargers, decades of football futility will come to an end--Chargers to SB and crush the NFC entrant.

The Colts will pound either SD or NE. They are out for blood.

we'll beat the Ravens, and if we face the Bengals I like our chances against them. SD/Indy will be tough, as expected. Wes or no Wes, I have full faith in a Brady and BB lead team

We are the #3 seed so "if" we defeat Baltimore, we will go to play the #2 seed which is San Diego.

If I were the pessimist... A lost at San Diego or a lost at Indianapolis. The latter's just prolonging the inevitable.

If I were the optimist... Same as above, except the Patriots defeat the Colts.

If any solace... The Chargers have owned the Colts in the playoffs the past two seasons.

If it were wishful thinking... The Jets, behind Revis and a defense with playing momentum, get on a run and eliminate Cincinnati and Indianapolis like Pittsburgh (sixth seed) did against said teams in the 2005 season. But then, they lose to New England in the conference finals.

In "Predict the score" I never once guessed that the other team will win. Maybe it's unlrealistic, but I think the Pats can win every game.

With Tom Brady & Bill Belichick, that is never unrealistic.

With the pass rush we have there is next to no chance we win a shoot out against Indy or SD

I don't think people are really wallowing in misery they're just being realistic. You have something people refer to as faith, something that can't be substantiated by facts but you just believe. That's great. As a realist, I feel like the Pats win a nail-biter against the Ravens and lose to SD because they are a superior team we would have to play on the road.

I hope you're right and we're wrong.

I think we'll beat the Ravens handily then get crushed in San Diego. The good news? The Bengals or Chargers will take care of the Cowards.

The Bengals won't beat the Colts. With Welker now gone, only the Chargers have a realistic chance to beat the Colts.

I think the Jets could beat the Colts.

Everything is possible ,the Jests can make it to the SB.Actually, for some reason,i like their chances,because.....they have nothing to lose.Joker.

The optimist in me says Superbowl champions with a magical run there. The realist in me says beat Baltimore lose to San Diego.
