Get a clean break from Mac, move him at the draft for an old kicking tee.

Bring back Zappe, Grier and a first round pick. Let the older guys play until the rookie is ready and takes the job.

The process is the same for every team.

Agreed. Amazing people are still giving Zappe the benefit of the doubt and want to see him get more chances when he hasn't taken advantage of a single one he's gotten. I guess they missed the second half on Sunday. Zappe doesn't belong in the NFL. Never did. Never will. Waste of a draft pick.

I think we'll see the team take out the trash that is the QB room and start over. With a rookie it's a good time to do it.

Get rid of Mac.

Sign a serviceable backup.

Option B:
Keep Mac as backup.
Draft a projected solid qb.
Sign a serviceable backup to compete with Mac.

Barring any good trade opportunities, I’d prefer option B. I dont believe Mac would be a distraction and by all accounts is a good teammate. Perhaps without all of the pressure on his shoulders, he can prove to be a good mentor and solid backup until his contract runs out. If someone offers a 3rd or higher, I’ll drive him to the airport myself and my ass lives in Cali.

My Fear: Belichick still picking the groceries leads to keeping Zappe or Jones plus adding Russell Wilson as the FA starter and Spencer Rattler as the future franchise gunslinger. Pick number 1 is Brock Bowers.

BB played Bledsoe over Brady even though he preferred Brady according to Michael Holley, he started Damien Harris over Rhamondre... you act like BB is always correct, he's not.

We'll find out this week if they should have been starting Zappe all season over Mac, hell since last season when he was 2-0.

I’d be okay with OT as the first pick only if there’s a prospect that projects to be in the league top 10 OTs within two years.

otherwise I’d rather see that pick used to draft Harrison Jr.

After those I’m okay with Brisket and Malik plus a solid draft pick with good developmental potential at QB.

One thing, I’d really like the Patriots to have Ernie Adams conduct a seance with **** Rehbein to select their next draft pick at QB…

He has seen the field several times in relief of a failed starter, sometimes with the game still in doubt. He has yet to notch a win, and he has thrown a couple of back breaking INTs.

Lmao he was terrible on Sunday after a week with starter reps and his fanboys are still making excuses for him. What will it be next…he didn’t have a full camp as starter?

Both guys are awful. I wouldn’t hold my breath that this is a diamond in the rough scenario. Shame Howell wasn’t the pick instead of Zappe. Would have worked wonders for Bill’s legacy being another late round QB success story.
