I'm not saying his technique is bad. I'm saying for a rookie from nowhere university to be an solid NFL starter week 1 is a lot to ask for.

With all rookies i'm tempering my expectations and being patient. Everyone is different.

I don’t disagree with this I just thought that the draft scouting reports on Strange cited his techniques as a strength, especially blocking at the second level. When they picked him I said WTF, but the more I looked into him as a player the more I saw to like. I would still have rather seen them trade up for Jordan Davis, but given how many needs they have, as well as the need to protect Jones, the more sense the pick made.
