Pats have engaged in TRADE TALKS for Isaiah Wynn

Brown scares me just as much.

Only reason i'm not as adamant pushing for him to get traded is b/c it'll be much harder to find a LT replacement than a RT one. We're talking Mac's blind side here...

With that said if Brown goes down and we still have Wynn then that is OK.

I dunna know..
We need more OL not less.

That’s not realistic. It’s the NFL rosters are built around question marks.
He said fewer (less), not no question marks.

I was recently wondering "Dang what's up with Wynn I thought people really liked him". This thread has been pretty useful. To summarize my take based on others' takes:

- He is talented but can't be considered reliable to show up every game: he may be injury prone (though there is debate on that).
- Not amazing against the pass rush, seems good run blocker.
- One in the hand is worth two in the bush, so calls to trade him may be premature: I trust BB on this. If he is traded, then that is the right move. If not, then that is the right move.

Take from PFF, who put him at "Solid Starter" (30th ranked tackle in league) was not exactly glowing, but not exactly awful, sort of confirming what people here have been saying:
Wynn was finally able to play a relatively full slate of games last season after failing to clear 650 offensive snaps in each of his first two years with the Patriots. He’s been a middle-of-the-road pass protector in his first three seasons, but he excels in the gap schemes that the Patriots rushing attack favors. Wynn ranks in the 88th percentile of all qualifying tackles in run-blocking grade in gap schemes since 2019.

Another healthy season and some improvement in pass protection could see the 25-year-old move up this list next season.

I’m not sure a league average starter who missed 7 of 33 games is a greater than typical risk.

Attitude is also a factor, not just injuries, as RW indicated previously.

Anyway, I don’t think Wynn is getting traded unless BB sees an OL logjam I don’t see or he desperately wants the cap space.

It feels like it should be more then 7 (even though 7 is accurate). It probably feels that way because it's talked about constantly. Similar to repeating a lie over and over.

Well it doesn't seem like Wynn is going anywhere now hope he lives up to his contract and original draft status.

Do other fan bases constantly bash their players or is this one just too spoiled?

Other fan bases aren't as spoiled

Of course not but do they bash their own players incessantly?
Worse. This board is one of the bigger homer boards out there. ChiefsPlanet takes the cake, though. Or at least they did. They booted me for calling Jackson Mahomes a queer and I haven’t been back since.

That was funny. You got Romper Room'd.

I need to cut n paste the time Mosslost was posting there and they were completely paralyzed. High comedy.

Can we do a Mohammed Sanu on any of the needy teams. That will be the only way we can justify the trade.

Nah, dude. They straight up banned me.
