Patriots will win Sunday

Pretty much exactly what you did.
You have to understand when arguing against him you lose simply because he says so and he is never wrong.

Despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, he is right.

No because wearing blue stripes does not have the track record that this franchise has. And I kind of think that bill belichick and Tom Brady have a greater influence on the outcome of the game than what shirt I wear but I'm sure you will explain to me how they don't.
Well either way....I hope everyone wears their blue striped Patriots jerseys tonight for good luck....just in case

This game is huge for both teams imo.

The Falcons have lost the last two games they should have won and we all know the choke job in the SB.
If the New England wins tomorrow night it could end yet another teams dreams and possibly Quinn in ATL. Ryan isn't celebrated down there either.

It be crushing. 3 in a row. 2 by New England in a year. It would be torture for ATL. This game means everything for Atlanta.

New England, overall hasn't played close to their best yet but we all know this team hits it's stride in later months.

The defense is easily playing the worst of the 3 units and has really hindered the offense from dictating and playing how they want.

The Pats need this game to remind themselves what they just accomplished not to long ago, on the field. A win here could really be "that" game we look back on in Jan/Feb and say it started then.

On Defense we have to play smart and solid, not flashy, to win. That's a game plan we can get behind from the coaches to players.

Again smart, and take our shots when we can. Flowers and Wise unleashed on empty sets and obvious passing downs. Specifically Flowers matched up with Matthews who hasn't been consistent all year.
Miami's defensive line didn't do anything extraordinary but play with passion. Ate up double teams to let their backers fill lanes, got off their blocks and made a few plays.

Atlanta is dangerous for many reason but their running game is versatile and deadly.
We don't need Branch, Brown and Guy to put up flashy #'s rather than do their job. Anchor, shed and awareness to misdirection. Also have our DE'S chip and follow with a hand on them down the line.
Make them uncomfortable, have them pick up a few blitzes to help keep them out of the passing game.

We beat them by attacking their Oline and RB's in pass pro.
We're going to use our 3S package to slow them down close to line and bracket JJ.
Much like how Oakland freed up Cooper by moving him outside, slot, motion the other night. Atlanta will do the same. Jones is a HOF WR and only got 1 target in the RZ this season. Expect him to be heavily involved early, often and everywhere.

The Flacons haven't recovered from the SB defeat.
2017 2ND HALF RANKINGS
29th in pts/gm, 27 in points allowed/gm, time of possession

If we can start fast with a lead or keep it close into halftime I have no doubt we'll make them pay with adjustments in the 2nd half.

On Offense attack them outside the #'s with Cooks. Doesn't have to be deep. Maybe save a few double moves for the 2nd half and take what's given early with 14.

When Neal is on Gronk stretch the seam and attack downfield. Neal has trouble with vert routes. When Campbell is on him hit Gronk on in breaking routes. He has trouble there.

Utilize our RB's everywhere. I want to see Lewis and White a combined 15+ rec. Maybe Burkhead as well.

Atlanta will try an take away Brady's sweet spots in the middle/deep part of the field away.

Beat them outside, underneath and stay away from hero ball.

GO PATS

the overwhelming evidence is that you are obsessed with me. It's creepy

While we're at it..."The Patriots Defense is going to give up alot of First downs. Why? Because that is what they do."

I see it becoming more difficult because of Gilmore and Rowe being out. They got away with it against the lousy jests. They gonna need some type of pass rush. They haven't even put a good solid performance at home yet.

Pats are going to get curb stomped without Gilmore/Rowe.

Note: I thought the same for Oakland last night. Hoping to work similar magic Sun eve.

Regards,
Chris

The Pats will lose to Atlanta on Sunday.

Falcons are pissed. Pats don't have enough DBs. Falcons win.

offense will need 35+ to win....defense can't stop anyone, sad but true

I am trying to see how they win this game even being at home. They have been awful at home. I don't see anyway they can win this game if they give the falcons 30 points. Our offense has been good but they have been sporadic at times. I trust the falcons defense compare to our beat up defense. Again unless they hold the falcons under 24 I don't see how they win this game.

I anticipate a game that will surely have my butt hole clenched in the final minute. I'm going to trust in the Falcons gagging, also the Pats have been unusually bad at home. Hard to believe they'll lose their third home game in the first half of the season.

I hope you are right, but I have a bad feeling about this one.

I'll admit I was wrong about the defense getting abused by Atlanta and Brady would have to shoulder the load once again. Somehow after all these years this team finds a way to surprise me.

In my defense most of the keys to a win I posted proved true.

Holding them to field goals in the redzone will be imperative to have a realistic shot, wrap up tackles are a must, and the run defense must shutdown their backs. The offensive line can't allow hits or pressures on Brady, receivers and backs must be sure handed, need to shorten the game by going on long marches that result in 7 points, discovering a potent rushing attack would go a long way, and turnovers can't happen. There is no room for error for this team to pull this game out.

Damn! Never acted on that mortgage bet.

Nope you were totally wrong. If you start your prediction with

Brady once again having to carry the entire franchise on his back. I'll be shocked if they force Atlanta to punt more than twice in the game.

then your hedgy, obvious keys to the game (e.g. Limit scoring.. genius !) will not salvage anything.

I'm sure you knew they would do what they did tonight after struggling all season against a slumping but admittedly high powered offense.

Look at my score prediction and what I have been writing and you will see that yes I expected a decisive win.

But as usual your post had no content. Just obsession.

Winner by TKO...Andy Johnson

Well then I tip my cap because you saw things that I didn't see or expect.
