We get that a lot around here. It's part of the cycle that homers use when defending bad/questionable picks.

Player first drafted - You can't judge him now. He hasn't played a single game.
Player struggles early - It's too soon to judge. You have to give a guy 3 years.
Player bombs out - hindsight is 20/20. You can't crow about him now.
I still can’t believe people disagreed with me when I said Dawson and Cyrus Jones were bad picks. Just amazing levels of homerism there.

Also most had reservations about the Dominique Easley First round Selection from the start. He had red flags due to his bad knees and was also not the prototypical DT BB usually drafts....well it didn't take long. The fans are right sometimes.
Seems like a lot of Gators in the running for Bills worst picks...

Pretty much every pick will be defended by some of the people, and that's to be expected. It's the "how" of the defense that gets to be problematic, IMO.

Yeah tell me about it also WR Chad Jackson please BB stay away from that School. Your current record for good players there is UN-matched.

The defense I can’t stand is the “he plays on another team”. Like that somehow makes the player a better pick for the New England Patriots.

Or when he took Jermaine Cunningham over his college teammate Carlos Dunlap. The Gator curse.

Jermaine did tease that one year though yeah but I heard the Carlos Dunlap rumor.

The Colts GM drafted two rookie All-Pros last year. He also hired a seemingly good coach that lead them to the playoffs after McDaniels backed out. Why would the Colts need help at GM?
Two rookie all pros? You don't mean that overrated Darius Leonard, do you? Check him out in this video.

He's #53 with the white sleeves. Still think this guy is an all pro?

163 tackles, 7 sacks. Guy was all over the field last season. And Nelson is going to be a rock in that colts interior line for years.

Not going to sour on a player for a bad game.

Well it was the biggest game of the year for his team.

But! Don't you wonder how many of those tackles were 5 yards down the field because he plays handsies with the o-lineman because if the o-lineman engages him he gets dominated?

I'll definitely be keeping my eyes peeled on him this season.

Idk if you can count the amount of colts on one hand that had themselves a good game at arrowhead. A dome team going into those elements (weather, insane crowd noise, the offensive speed of their opponent). They looked like a team who was beaten before the game started, just happy to make the divisional round.

And I’m sure he had plenty of tackles downfield as an ILB. 163 tells me he was making tackles all over the field.

Interesting tweet from Over the Cap... maybe why the Pats always focus on UDFA's....

I’ve seen Ray Lewis miss a tackle too.

Actually, there were many of us in the Draft forum who applauded the JCJack signing post-draft.

great......let's chalk it up to the blind squirrel theory.....still praying for le'raven clark? or hoping that garcia starts over trent brown?
