Texans redesigned uniforms look way cleaner than their original Pats rip off uniforms they've worn since 2002. They actually did a great job.

I hope the Pats are ready to unveil a new cleaner look in the off-season.

Boutte beats Stingley clean for the TD. Can't believe we thought about releasing him when, outside of Pop, we have a truly woeful receiving crew. Maye-Pop-Boutte + a top end WR and a decent offensive line and the Dynasty is back.

EDIT: + an OC who isn't A-VEE-PEA

Wait what more was Gonzalez suppose to do? He almost made a play from where he was coming from.
Gonzo was on the complete opposite side of the field, not even sure what people are looking at. Look at the assclown Roy, what the **** was THAT? Fire that fat slob right now, don't even let him take a shower, throw his **** in a shopping bag and throw it outside.

I've been as critical as anyone of Mayo, but I thought his press conference was encouraging.
I think we win next week.
We can't win in the states so hopefully we get one over seas

Maye can play. Please don't ruin him before next year. Also, I'm excited for Douglas to breakout with actual QB play.
As long as AVP isn't coaching defense and covington isn't coaching offense next season well be much better.

Shows the team wasn't serious about releasing him. That was only chatter from some media and posters.

Ok, got it.

Who is #22 with the whiff of a tackle? Marco Wilson?

And Christian Gonzalez looked to be dogging it a bit in pursuit.

Defense is regressing. We need another tall, athletic boundary corner.

Thant was phucking Duggar with the abysmal whiff of a tackle.

As great as that throw was, I thought the 4th qtr throw to Bouttee said it all. It was an even better throw.
Id have to see it again. The thing that impressed me about the 40 yarder was how far he threw it with soo little effort.

Bring in a coach with an offensive background and saleh as dc and we’re a better team.

Reid
Koc
Shanahan
Jim harbaugh
Lafleur

All offensive coaches in a passing league. Pats have had a long line of head coaches with defensive backgrounds but I think considering the current passing era it’s time to change that.

KB still working his way back so I expect him to be slow coming around. But yes I agree Boutte has talent.

Our backs ran with hesitation and tbh looked like they were running scared. Huge difference in running style from 38. A run game would have helped a bit today.

Seems Mayo has gotten a lot of heat from his post-presser which I didn't see yet.
But, he seems checked sorta out. It's all corporate cliches and trying to appear old & wise.
Not sure who is to blame for the D - Covington or Mayo - but it's gotten so much worse since last year.

Meh.. we are depleted and devoid of talent on defense I'm not really as bothered becuase I expect them to struggle without Barmore, peppers or Bentley.. those are huge losses. Gonzo looked tired to me..

Clear nerves with Maye, good to have game 1 out of the way, he’ll get much better. Has great deep ball and that showed, went thru reads, some accuracy issues on a couple passes, bad INT and bad tipped ball. Rookie mistakes with top 5 NFL skills shown. Loved the scramble, head up to make a big play.

2024 Rookie first starts comparison:

Maye 20/33 61% for 243 Yds, 7.4 Avg, 88.3 Rating, 3TD, 2 INT Vs 5-1 Houston with 5 rushes for 38 yds (7.6 per)
Daniels: 17/24 72% for 184 yds 7.7 Avg 93.1 Rating, 0 TD, 0 INT vs 4-2 Tampa with 16 rushes for 88 yds (5.5 per) and 2 Rushing TD's
Williams: 14/29 48% for 93 yds 3.2 Avg 55.7 Rating, 0 TD, 0 INT vs 1-4 Titans with 5 rushes for 15 yds (3.0 avg)
Bo Nix: 26/42 62% for 138 yds 3.3 Avg 47.5 Rating, 0TD/2 INT vs 3-3 Seahawks w/ 5 rushes for 35 yds (7.0 avg) and 1 Rush TD
Rattler: 22/40 55% for 243 yds, 6.1 Avg 60.7 Rating 1TD/2INT vs 4-2 Bucs with 4 rushes for 27 yds(6.8 avg)

Daniels had 3 fumbles, Williams, Maye and Rattler 1 each.
Drops: Nix 2, Williams 1, Daniels 0, Maye: 2 I think, Not sure on Rattler

For Fun:
Tom Brady: 13/23 56.5% 168 yds, 7.3 avg 79.6 Rating,0TD/0 INT 1 rush for 2 yards, was a 44-13 blowout win over Manning and the Colts
