I'm hoping he is just banged up and could play in an emergency. Start with Light and Solder, and if one of them, god forbid, breaks a leg or something, Vollmer could play at 85% or something.

Hmm...they presumably cut Maneri knowing they'd signed Welch to the PS as insurance. If Vollmer isn't ready to go Monday, they'd have to promote Welch to the 53 -- and probably keep him there, since they no longer have a backup plan if he gets claimed this time.

I think BB just wants to put Solder in to get his baptism of fire like Vollmer did when he started earlier than expected........

Depth is good at LT......but Light better not stink it up vs Wake ....we'll see what Solder can do pretty early on...a good showing could solidify the OL nicely...

At least Nate has a few practices to prepare and won't get thrown to the wolves on a moments notice.....

Put him on the INJURY Report BB bad things happened when you took him off it I need not speak of that incident. All teams were A-SSHATS and jubilant when that incident happened.
