Lions Gab: Why preseason game vs. Patriots is huge - Anthony Kuehn - Kuehn feels this game is important and cites their last meeting in terms of predicting how their season ended up going:

Two years ago, the Lions played the Patriots at home in the third preseason game and again, it was an excellent predictor of what was to come that year.
