No, Bryant is OT, more specifically LT2.I don't believe he's taken any snaps at OG that I recall; or has he...?

I believe Vrabel said something to the effect of he will be out for a few weeks and miss the rest of the preseason. I took that to mean he will not miss much more than a month total. If he was going to miss more than 2-3 regular season weeks for sure they probably would have used an IR spot. The fact they didn't seems to indicate they feel confident in his timeline being short term.Dr Bob, I haven't heard anyone have confidence on Brown returning early.
Van Roten has played center, started two games there for the Giants in 2024. He has also been the entrenched starter at both guard spots for various teams over the course of his 14 year career.Not at Center. They don't even have one there, never mind two.
You really have no clue. Wilson did it last year and it was a abysmal. Did you not see the results? If you think he looked good a left guard, you are an idiot. Hudson was horrible against the Colts. How do I know? I was frikin there watching the game. You don't just slide a rookie tackle into a position he has never played while his is try to lean two positions in a new offense at the pro level. You seriously have no clue.
good gamble in a time of need, but once Brown and maybe Rupcich healthy, I don't think Van Roten sticks
Brown is not on IR (yet)I know you liked Ruprich in camp, but he's gone.
The team can't sign Ruprich until earliest week six. If he's any good another team will pick him up before. And by week 6 Van Roten's contract will be guaranteed.
The only chance Ruprich will be here is desperation or on the practice squad. if the team had plans for him they would waited to IR him, like they're doing with Ben Brown.

I don't believe it has been settled as of yet (or announced)Right. Because they want Brown available when he's ready. If Brown is not healthy by the end of camp, they will IR him with return like they did with Tavai last season.
Unlike Brown (if things stay this way) Ruprich will be available to anyone who wants him earlier. You don't do that if a player is in your plans.
So yes the team could bring him back if nobody else is interested, but since they handled his situation in this manner, this was a settlement and cut.
He seems pretty durable for a 36 year old guy - he started every game for the Giants last year.I am tempted to pump the brakes on Van Roten. he is older than Moses, and making vet min.
will he stick around?

In addition, he may want to return here and play for Vrabel and Marrone
Seems like that Steal Marcus Bryant late last year; is able to make them bring Caleb Lomu along very slowly.I don't like the sound of this;
Bradyn Swinson and Gabe Jacas both took advantage of LT Caleb Lomu’s low hands (think Vederian Lowe), swiped them down, and easily sped around him.
I don't understand your math. Five starters and two backups at each of tackle, guard, and center makes for eleven.Ben Brown will be back early this year. I don't think they need to sign anyone else. I think we have 9 solid oline options now with 2 quality back ups at each spot.
Say what?I don't like the sound of this;
