I am hoping that they keep putting Cyrus Jones out there on PR duty.... I think Cyrus needs more reps and a longer look before we cut bait. I think we should keep him on the 53 for the first 4 weeks at least.

Well, it would be nice if the defense kept the Gints punting a lot.

Fans really overrate the value of a good final preseason game to a guys roster spot. A few coaches over the years have said that their rosters are pretty much set before the game and the only changes are if injuries occur (or external talent is acquired)

Go back over the years and the guys who play great in the last game either still get cut or were never in danger

I don' think that it's overrating to suggest that there may be a couple-three roster-end/special teams spot not finalized yet. In the past there's been some roster churn that extended even into week-2.

Hmmmm...It seems BB sees things differently than a few coaches.....

Not all the players that won't play tonight are roster locks. Some can be trade assets (will they materialize or not is another Q)

Hope McCarron still plays despite being with “locks“ out there. Id hate to see they go with him and send more promising rookies through waivers. But looks like thats exactly what they are doing taking today insurance over future insurance. Same goes for Gillislee..
