Garay was cut by the Jets last night and he would be a decent depth addition, offers some pass rush and could be cover on the nose so Wilfork can have a rest.

So does Joe Vellano make the roster? Or we hoping Armstead will be healthy soon?

Armstead is done until at least week 6.

Forston surprises me, I thought he was pretty much a lock with the lack of depth at DT right now.

Forston's the most interesting cut for sure. For much of camp he was the first DT off the bench and looked good, then Vellano got the start for game 3 and Forston seemed to be in freefall.

Forston seemed to flash and then disappear. Vellano seems to be one of those full effort guys all the time.

Seattle cut Winfield. He'd be an interesting player to look at for CB depth.

Mesko looked by far & away the best punter throughout pre-season, Allen has a big leg yeah but he out kicked the coverage a couple of times and seemingly had no touch on punts either.

yeah but punting barely matters and he's way cheaper, ideally we'd have no punter
