A 7th and a Special Teams guy. Wow. Crazy how we overvalue our players. I saw some projecting a 4th or better.

I like Boutte and hopefully he has a good career in Houston.

Reed was a 6th round pick. Right about where I said the compensation would be. The Texans have to pay Boutte if they want to keep him. I’d have preferred the pick but if Reed becomes a player it’s a solid deal.

Edit: just saw the added 7th pick in 2028. Good trade.

Boutte should be top 60-70 wide receiver .

He wasn’t a WR2 here with Drake Maye, so why would he be now with Stroud?

Boutte is a good player. The return is a joke. The organization has repeatedly undervalued him or were prepared to cut him last offseason but were forced not to because of his performance.

Best of luck KB, he deserves to be treated as a legit receiver not buried on the bench. He was the best receiver on the roster not named AJ Brown.

Horrible. No need to even trade boutte .
Just keep him . His own year is worth 10 times what reed or the 7th round pick will give we already have saunders balling out and you have the prized veteran free agent safety . Why a new safety. At least a linebacker might have made sense...
