Agreed.. the O line is something that should already be set, as it requires cohesion to be able to execute. I know injury and players unavailable is always a factor.. the feeling I've had is.. we've seen for so long bad teams have dissary with thier offensive lines. At this point the healthiest 5 have to be out thier and I'm sure BOB is going to Max protect.

I would have been totally fine signing him to a lower guarantee and bringing in more bodies with him, especially with the questions around anderson and trent all summer. I think it’s safe to say that having Anderson on NFI unable to practice being sick all preseason and McDermott and Reiff injured at the end of camp was disastrously bad luck.

The entire board has seemed to be concerned about the line and especially the OTs all through camp and especially after the first preseason game. As a homer, I'm glad they're making moves and hope something sticks.

As do I, though the better move would've been for Bill to swap 4th- & 6th-rounders with old friend Monti in AZ for Josh Jones, egg-zactly as he did 4 years earlier for Jermaine Elmanure, an inferior player.
