Patrick Peterson Wants Out of Arizona

Probably about as credible as Sharks of Vegas.

I wonder if the established Chandler Jones trade could play a role similarly to acquiring Trent Brown for peanuts after the Jimmy G trade. Out of conference + prior relationship might be enough if the compensation is slightly below someone else.
Chandler isnt walking thru that door would love it imagine Jones for Clayborne and a pick.

************ do some of you guys have PTSD over twitter because you didn't get a binky?

Tell them if they convert 4.5 million of his salary this year, and another 4.5 million of next years to a singing bonus (letting it go against what would be their 63 million in cap space for 2019)
I’d them be much happier with sending them a first

Assuming this is accurate about the Patriots projected picks (I didn't bother to double check)

1st round
2nd round (from Chicago Bears)
2nd round
3rd round (from Detroit Lions)
3rd round (projected compensatory pick)
3rd round (projected compensatory pick)
4th round
5th round
6th round (projected compensatory pick)
7th round
7th round (from Philadelphia Eagles)
7th round (projected compensatory pick)

This really shouldn't be a tough deal to work out, if the sides are actually amenable.

  • Cardinals convert some salary to signing bonus to facilitate trade
  • Peterson for Rowe and 1st round (or 2nd and a pair of 3rds, with one being conditional on a comp pick) pick
