Patrick Peterson Wants Out of Arizona

Now there is speculation that Patriots could try to trade for Landon Collins. Ohh the trade deadline!

Also would be on board with this depending on the cost. If Peterson’s unavailable we could use help at safety. Dmac and Harmon haven’t been that great to this point in the season.

And I am sure Dmac knows he no longer worth that huge cap it.

Interesting quote is that McFadden claims the Eagles have offered a 2nd and a 3rd. Would/could/should the Pats top that? I guess the answer to “could” is yes.....

If the Pats were to offer up Crossen and/or Rowe with the 2nd better of the 2nd rounders I think AZ might do it..

I don’t see why they would want him but please be rowe!

I’d think including Rowe in the deal would lower the chance of the Cardinals accepting, not increase..... :)

I’m sure the cardinals would rather trade him to NE, so if NE can offer Rowe and a 2nd then maybe they’ll bite.

For the draft pick and to get a player back. Might cost a little more via pick if we ask then to eat a little $. Or we could make the player worth it to them. Rowe for example would at least give them a corner back who has started. They probably would prefer JC or Crossen but that probably isn't enough $.

We aren't talking about a huge amount of $ based on Miguel's article we were pretty close to having enough.

Another team might be able to offer the pick without Zona needing to take something back and then we'd lose out but if we offer the best pick or we are the only offer they would have plenty incentive to eat a little salary.
Sounds like a baseball trade. MLB does not have hard cap to deal with.

I wonder if the established Chandler Jones trade could play a role similarly to acquiring Trent Brown for peanuts after the Jimmy G trade. Out of conference + prior relationship might be enough if the compensation is slightly below someone else.
