Panthers crying about Mac's hold on Burns.

Some one did the week before.....'i didn't hear the whistle" i am worried that mac will have a target on his back for a few weeks though. Now that i think of it after the cheap shot against mac in the LA game i didn't hear or read that much of an uproar, Dirty Mac Jones was on the front page of yahoo yesterday morning, i didn't see anything like that when mac got steam rolled after the whistle had blown the week before. Not much was said about how that was an intentional dirty play.

And with NFL's "Protect the player's safety" rulebook, the Chargers player got a hefty fine.

Just messing with you! He got no fine at all.

Just another day in the NFL home office. This is what happens when a clown is in charge.

He can talk all he wants. The league goes out of their way to protect QBs. And if someone tries they're going to get some happy hunting themselves if you know what I mean.

I've never heard of a defensive player who cries about a QB hurting him while making a play. That's really weird. And kind of embarrassing.

I am surprised Mac has not reach out to him. I will have if I did not mean to it.

Mac in the presser right now was just asked about Burns comments
"Yeah I've already addressed that situation and I'm looking forward to playing in this game with the guys on our team"

Good answer Bill I mean Mac.

Dude needs stronger ankles.
This is what really bothers me. People are getting in a huff because they think Mac hurt Burns. HE DIDN'T. Burns went on to play just fine, and injured both Stevenson AND Harris (concussing BOTH of them), AFTER the play involving Mac, and then eventually got injured later. His injury has nothing to do with Mac, and his rolling around in pain in the clip is a literal LeBron-level flop.

If the NFL had any consistency this would be fined pretty heavily, but it's the NYJFL so nothing will happen. Not sure how you suspend Gregg Williams indefinitely for "Bountygate" and take 1st round picks away, millions in fines, etc, but let guys go on about "happy hunting." It's the same thing.

Shouldn’t they be “on to Arizona” by now?!

I mean it's a DE job to hit/sack the QB. Not seeing anything controversial here. You don't think Garrett is going to try to sack Mac many times? Mac has already taken some brutal hits. He needs to set protections for himself and the OL has to defend him. That's all that matters.

Jesus, Burns is basically calling for players to intentionally injure Mac.

And after he intentionally concusses Harris and Stevenson. League needs to regulate this kind of near criminal behavior or the game will be destroyed.

Burns embarrassed himself today. It must be hard for a tough guy like him to blindside a QB that hard, have the QB grab his foot thinking he had the ball while on the ground, and end up being the one who needing to be helped off the field.

It must also be hard for Burns, Reddick and their teammates to accept that they’re destined to mediocrity over the next few years unless the can outbid the Dolphins for Watson because the geniuses who run their team, in a year when two potential franchise QBs were still on the board when they drafted at #8, decided to go with Sam Darnold instead as their QB. Now that’s a twist that hurts.

He grabbed his right ankle with both hands, used his legs to trip his left leg and spun to the left to bring him down. Watch the video.

Disagree, there is another view from the other side that shows Mac grab the ankle, but Burns kicks backwards and down to get free which is what turns his body as he tries to hold on.
