According to Jeff Howe, thread can be renamed: TB present and accounted for thread.

"Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are at Gillette Stadium today in anticipation of minicamp. Full story coming soon, but this arrival date has been the plan for weeks. Team knew it, too."

Renamed but please don’t close it. I fully plan on coming back here during the course of the season and giving a few posters the ViperGTS treatment.

Lies, lies I tell you. Brady clearly hates his coach, who decided the way to tell people he was pissed off about something created out of whole cloth by he media was to throw a Sb, so Brady decided that skipping Mimi camp was the best way to send his message.
Rumor is that once mini camp starts players and executives will be passing “ do you think _____ likes me” notes throughout the faculty as their new method of communication.

It's too late. The damage is already done.

I threw my hissy fit and now it looks like he's showing up.....mission accomplished
Well, that's as close to a mea culpa (yeah, more Latin) than anyone could possibly expect from you so mishegas accomplished.

You must have bought a large DD iced coffee to get Gronk to show up too.

nope.......my tirade was strategically placed.....

as for DD........I don't do dishwater even though they are headquartered in my town

This thread showed the true influence of the mediots. They have turned some good pats fans into Brady haters without him saying one word about missing otas. You people don’t deserve him as your qb and likely are first on the bandwagons to bench him after a bad game. Go full traitor and start rooting for you 49s qb, until he starts to fail don’t come back.

The Garappolites are alive and well...

I fuggn LOVE the fact the team knew and the media didn’t know it. I’m glad we on Patsfans.com didn’t know either so everyone can get all uncomfortable

Thanks!! Then why did so many here and media members have their fruit of the looms in a bunch?

Slow offseason + Media ratings drives + Most People Are idiots = panic and idiocy over a 40+ year old, who happens to be maniacal in his preparation and the best to ever play the game, missing 10 days (that's 20 hours) of May sorta-kinda-practices.

Just because Brady & Gronk will be at mandatory minicamp (which I believe most people here and the few (sane) local media members always felt would happen) and told the team "weeks ago" they would be at it doesn't magically make it a great idea for them to have skipped the voluntary stuff nor does it mean the team (and coaching staff) was hunky-dory with them skipping.

But what about Kenny Britt's career?????

Yeah, I’m not quite sure what all the chirping here is for either. Of course we expect Brady to be terrific this year. I’d expect him to be terrific if he missed minicamp (he was terrific after being suspended) but I don’t want him to miss that either.

Regardless of Belichick, Kraft Guerrero ...
The bottom line is players play for and hold themselves accountable for and to each other.
Brady and Gronk have always done that and more in their careers ... I am excited to see them.

Exactly.

And for the record, I have/had No Problem with Gronk skipping OTAs, at all. Bubble-wrap his ass until Opening Day for all I care.

It was also never about Brady needing the OTAs; of course he didn't need them. It was, for me, Always about his new targets needing Every Available Damn Moment with Brady in order to make life easier for Brady during the regular- and post-seasons. Meanwhile, we have reports/rumors that Dorsett & Patterson are no better-off now than they were before OTAs started. So they have that going for them...
