NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION OT: Week 3 games around the league

Two more OT injuries last night with Trent Brown and Anton Harrison. That’s 14 (at least) this week.

The way Brown has been playing, this may be an upgrade for the Bengals. He didn't even make an effort to for a little bit before he started to mail it in for the Bengals.

People were thinking the Jags could be a legitimate contender. This is year four of the Lawrence era where they should be a strong playoff team/legitimate contender. The way they are playing, they could be eliminated by Thanksgiving.

After week 3:

I'm not impressed with the Jets at all.

Bengals are done. They may make a Chargers like comeback during the season and fool the media, but they're cooked. Higgens will leave in FA and won't be paid what he thinks he's worth.

Ravens will struggle all season.

Saints came back down to earth.

Vikings could make some noise, but I need to see more. I love the Darnold resurgence.

I'm not buying the Bills.

Jags are done. The Lawrence contract is already being brought up by the media.

Chefs still have the same formula. No matter how their offense does, their defense won't allow opposing teams to outscore them.

Cowboys are on schedule for a Wild Card exit at best.

49ers OL is what I expected - horrendous. Samuel and Kittle taking games off as usual. Bosa is feeling the loss of Buckner and now Armstead.

The overall product of the NFL is extremely boring.

They were like Plaxico Burress at a club gettin' tipsy. I'm surprised they still have their toes, since they should've scored twice as many points.

A few plays later, Mims blocked air and allowed a sack, although at least with rookies there's actual room for improvement, as he settled in (talking out of my ash speed watching) after that.

In hindsight, the Bengals should have traded Tee Higgins when they had the chance to get a second rounder for him. If they continue to lose, they may trade him at the trade deadline but they will get far less.

The Patriots made the Jets look far better than they are. The Patriots were sloppy as bleep. I haven't seen them have more missed and broken tackles in a game in years. Also, the Patriots decided not to run the ball against this team. Prior to Thursday, their offense looked like an ineffective school yard offense and their defense couldn't stop the run.

Blocking air is more effort than I have seen Brown give on a lot of plays. There are plays where Brown barely gets out of his stance.

Your right. On the game I really just think the Jets wanted it more.. we were lethargic. I felt the game was over after our 1st offensive drive.

I still think the right move was to keep him, but it will be time to trade him if they continuing losing. However, I don't think any teams would want to trade for him as he's not going to save anyone's season.

Yeah Rodgers getting amped a bottom feeder team reminded me when he said opening night the Packers had a defense in 2019. I think many of us have overrated their talent.

Oh yeah.. she kept him partying all night long.. LMAO
Woo
