NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION OT: Week 1 Other Games

Just remember the Jets front office refused to make a trade for O-line help during the off-season.

I just went to Ganggreen to read thru the game thread so far. The utter depression was oozing out of their posts when they realized Rodgers was injured for real. And then the INT was the money shot for my reading pleasure. I am done reading.

Time for a cigarette.

Fecking Allen. Amazing play

So… a 2-2 start and 2-0 in the division looks doable.
I remember being pretty numb after that Brady injury in 2008 and in denial. So I get it. Although as @Palm Beach Pats Fan pointed out, not a lot of sympathy from that fan base.

I guess Rodgers got some karma for laughing at the injured Giants player this preseason.

How was Rodgers not flagged for Unsportsmanlike Conduct throwing the football at Bills #50 Rousseau?

Losing Brady in week 1 after a historic season hits a lot different than losing Rodgers deep into his decline

LOL, not if you're a Jets fan. He represented hope for at least one season. Now, just like that, it's gone in Week 1.

Hey they still have Zach Wilson! They can have the same amount of hope that they had last year

And that Eagles loss was out-of-conference. Even if they lose to the Cowboys that’s also out-of-conference. So they’d still probably be in good standing in the AFC as a lot of “contenders” lost against teams in the conference yesterday.

That's what's frustrating. As you said, a lot of top-tier AFC teams went down yesterday. Missed opportunity to grab an edge in the seedings that might have been helpful a couple of months from now. It both helps them, but also would have come in handy if they could have pulled yesterday off.

Mina Kimes is impressed by Zach Wilson’s int lol

Wilson didn't break up that pass, his helmet did.
