Detroit’s offense is overrated. Goff still stares down his primary target on the play and they don’t have anyone that keeps D coordinators up at night.

Manhomes just got a glimpse of reality without talent at the receiver position. Even with Kelce, this is very comparable to the 2006 Patriots or even the 2022 Packers for him. Bengals are watching and smell blood.

Goff was doing this with the Rams. He goes by the script. Remember how long it took him to realize Cooks blew past the coverage in the Super Bowl?

I see others acknowledge how bad Tirico is as a play by play caller. He gets way too animated calling a QB “Superman”, “putting on his cape”? and other nicknames. Collinsworth always takes one player each game and says “he’s the best in the NFL”.

The way Torico handled the ending of that Jets-Titans game on MNF is something he’d probably like to forget. Very unprofessional.

Football play by play has gone way downhill in the last 20 years and continues to get worse. It doesn’t get any better having Pat Summerall and John Madden calling the biggest games.

The OL protection on those two plays is completely different. You can see Goff getting clobbered before the ball is thrown but that's just not good for social media I guess. The quarter of a second more needed to push it down field is the difference between a strip sack and a nice play anyway.
