Apparently, in a confidential memo the NFL will be fining teams for posting certain media during games etc. Fines start around 25k. It's a little confusing but that's the NFL for you. Starts Oct 12th.

But they want it kept quiet.

Wonder who's gonna get hit first with a fine. I have an pretty good idea and am sure you guys/gals do too

Sounds like they want to say their engagement is up (from online media) during games. If the teams use only NFL video as that would be a hit on their server.

Seems they will then come up with new viewer numbers so they can keep charging high ad rates for TV.
