Entering his 20th season, quarterback Tom Brady continues to use the critics for motivation.

On Instagram Thursday, Brady shared his football velocity with a caption that read “He’s Gonna Fall Off A Cliff.”

The “cliff” remark references ESPN’s Max Kellerman’s 2016 First Take stance.

Tom Brady is going to “fall off a cliff” and “be a bum in short order” Kellerman declared back in July 2016.

Instead Brady has gone on to appear in three consecutive Super Bowls, winning two, and earning the 2017 MVP award.

Should Brady start all 16 games in 2019, he would become the oldest quarterback to ever accomplish the feat.
