The likely playoff teams looked pretty evident early in the season, and still do mostly, but now the Chiefs have snuck in there. KC also has a pretty easy road ahead:

@ Baltimore
Browns
Raiders

Their problem is they've won quite a few in a row already, and they are the Chiefs.

The Jets have:

@Cowboys
Pats
@Bills

And the Steelers:

Broncos
@Ravens
@Browns

Think we'd agree Pittsburgh is the most dangerous of the lot. My chosen path to the Super Bowl would be (out of what's somewhat likely to happen) hosting the Chiefs and the Broncos, but we'll see. But who gets left out in the cold?

Hmmm. I'd say the Jets are the most likely to lose 2 out of those 3 (to us, hopefully, and Buffalo), so I'll go with them. I'm not sure the other 2 lose another game, although the Raiders and Broncos can be tough.

KC should win out and end up 11-5. Pitt might as well. Really, it comes down to the Pats and Jets game. If the Jets win that, they have a shot of getting in.

That week 16 game is going to be very important to both teams.

The Broncos ...lol

I think you might be underestimating the Chiefs a little. I want no part of that pass rush and secondary.

the benglas could lose out the rest of the season and all 3 may get in

jets could win all 3 and be out...I doubt kc/pitt lose another

The Chiefs and Steelers will most likely win out. I think the Jets are going to drop at least one of their remaining games, so they'd be the odd team out.

if pitt/kc both win out, it doesn't matter what the jets do, they lose the tie breaker

Agree. The Jets schedule is the toughest. Can you see Rex having a shot at keeping the Jets out of the playoffs?? You know he's praying for that scenario. That Cowboys game is also sneaky tough for the Jets.

Gotta go with the Jets based on remaining strength of schedule and how much fun it will be for them to max out the damage to their draft position and yet still miss the playoffs.

I don't think Pitt is as good as people say they are, but I think the Jets have the best chance out of the 3 to be home in January. Rex would LOVE to be the reason why they don't advance.

I also think it would be fun to see the Colts AND Ravens miss the playoffs.

I don't know what to think. This whole season is just filled with sh***y football with only a few teams being good. These remaining weeks are going to be a tornado of a ride.

Facing any of those teams makes me a bit nervous. I would never presume the Pats to lose, but the ghosts of KC 2008 and 2014 could spook the team.

I'm just completely making this up. Stranger/internet/types whatever he wants.

How many people inhabit your head? How many of them have we met?

I hope Steelers don't make it since they are the 2nd best in the AFC, but my guess is the Jets lose out.

KC has a decent chance of winning the AFC West and getting the #3 seed.

Based upon schedule the jets are most likely to miss the playoffs.

Well, I think whoever the Pats play if Brady is patient they'll get their points. Then my choice is to play teams that don't have that many offensive weapons--as this defense gets healthier it's absolutely turning into a unit that can shut teams down. You see the Chiefs coming into Gillette and winning? No way.
