OT: Skippy Might Start Stid - EDIT Carr Benched, Stidham will start

They're not even going to have him practice, so I'd say the writing is on the wall.

Good owners pick the right GM, and the right GM picks the right HC and players. The HC in turn coaches the players. It's a trickle down effect. You pick a lousy GM, the whole operation falls apart. In addition, the owner has to sign off on player contracts.
My understanding is they have to sign off on trades, but not on contracts themselves. That's a main reason that Brad Childress got fired (for cutting Moss).

I mean I'm sure Kraft has his input on free agency contracts though...

So who's Stid's back-up. They're going to need him once Stid's back seizes up when he sees Bosa rushing him unchecked.

Holy sh*t, Raiders only list two QBs on the team. They have Chase Garbers in the PS, an UDFA out of Cali.

LOL !!

Outstanding work Josh.

Left NE & Mac. Benched Carr for Stiddy. He don't give a Fuuuuuuukkkkkkkkkk.

Honestly it seems to be going over fine

Photoshopped Mac over Stidham doing this. Imagine posing like this without doing a thing to earn it.
Wow - never seen this before. Where did he do this?

Doing this with his resume is the height of hubris.

Carr has left the Raiders facility for the balance of this season and likely for good.

I wonder if Josh and Bill have already discussed a Mac Jones trade for 2023. The Raiders would have a pretty sizeable amount of cap space if they released Carr and replaced him with Mac on a rookie deal. Josh clearly wants a guy who is familiar with and can be productive in his offense.
Very much doubt they would talk at this stage but a trade is a possible scenario. BB has shown he is ok to move on from anyone so what's one more? McDaniels also showed he is capable to make Mac effective.

That said - doubt it happens. Brady is more likely in my opinion.

Carr, wasn’t worth what he was going to be paid next year. The Raiders should really be trying to get the best pick possible at this point.

My only issue with the move is how it effects Adams. From the video posted earlier it effects him poorly.

I can’t see the Pats trading Mac to the Raiders unless they recouped the first they used to draft Mac. The raiders would be insane to pay that much.

I always thought that Carr was too soft to win in the NFL. He seemed to lack any cutting edge or a bite to him.

McDaniels is smart to have realized that he will not win with Carr. After so many coaches failed with him you have to start questioning the common denominator.

McDaniels now is on the clock. The knives will be out for him next year as Carr is a nice guy and am sure has plenty of fans that will have a lot of ammunition if McDaniels does not win next year.

That said not a fan of how ruthless they were to basically cut him mid season. At least have him be a backup.

Not nearly important as quarterbacks, it's been proven.

Really? Do please show that work.

Would you rather have Mark Davis/Jim Irsay/ The Spanos as your owner and Patrick Mahomes as your quarterback or Kraft/Mac?

Bad owners win Super Bowls, bad quarterbacks don't in the modern era unless they're going against Matt Patricia.

The formula for consistently competing for championships has changed over the year.
