JimmyG will be the top QB in free agency, I know there's Brady but it seems he's on to specific situations (49ers, Miami).
If Mac doesn't become our guy, and the Pats keep being good enough to not suck for a top 10 pick, I don't know but I don't like the possibility of they becoming Redskins/Colts looking for failed vets with some good moments in the past with hopes to make them look good again but what else could you do without a franchise qb?
Belichick just got a good look at Carr.
I'm sure he saw what I saw. The worst starting QB in the NFL not named Zach Wilson.
I could not believe how bad Carr was against the Patriots. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, watch the 2nd half, and pay attention to all the bad reads). So I watched them play the Steelers. He was so ridiculously bad, it defies belief.
He is doing his own thing out there, never throwing to open guys, chucking the ball downfield (inaccurately) into double coverage. He was ridiculously bad against us, but completing 50% of your throws and 3 INTs against the Steelers?
Brady has only been MARRIED once.Brady's a twice divorced guy with kids from both. He may have some geographic limitations based on parental responsibilities and values.
Yes, like I said I was shocked. I always thought he was a good QB.I confess I'm not watching a whole lot of games this season, I'm basing my comments on what I saw from him in past seasons, by your comments he's headed to backup territory then.

There are QBs other than Zach Wilson having worse seasons than Carr. The other Wilson, the soon to be retired Matt Ryan, and Mac Jones just to name a few. Davis Mills too, although he's playing under impossible circumstances. And Kenny Pickett, who gets a rookie pass.Belichick just got a good look at Carr.

Didn't watch that game but the complaint is why didn't they run the ball more given it was outdoors in freezing temps. There's a stat out there that they've won every game when Jacobs runs it for >100 yards. Fans are blaming McDaniels coaching.Don't know if he's the worst besides Punky, but that Sh!ttsdirt game... Woof...
There was No F ucking Way - Zero Zip Zilch - that they should've lost... Just one more drive of Any length at all and the Raiders win; but Noooooo...
mac jones and a second for davante adams do it billI definitely wonder what the plan is at QB in Vegas. A Mac Jones trade feels obvious.

this happens to McD on every team he is a HC or OCFans are blaming McDaniels coaching.
Adams’ contract is not bad for the receiving team but it will be a massive dead cap hit for Vegas in 2023 if they trade him. It eats up a lot of the space they save from cutting Carr, at least for one season. But for the receiving team, he would just have a $6M salary in 2023 and $16M in 2024 so it’s like a two year/$22M contract. His salary in 2025 and 2026 is over $35M in both seasons, but none of that is guaranteed.mac jones and a second for davante adams do it bill

When you're ahead, you run it. When you're behind, you throw it.Didn't watch that game but the complaint is why didn't they run the ball more given it was outdoors in freezing temps. This is correlation and not causation, but NFL teams that can total 40+ carries in a game this season are 26-5. And to break it down, Bears are 2-3 in those games, everyone else is 24-2 (Panthers 4-0). Run that much, it usually means you got a lead and ran well to keep that lead.

Fans are among the stupidest groups in the world. Even the most knowledgeable and intelligent fan bases are composed mostly of educated fools. It's the nature of fandom. But, that being said:
It's not coaching that has Renfrow and Waller playing a combined 15 games out of a possible 30. It's not coaching that has the Raiders scrambling to make up for some of the worst drafting over a brief period, particularly in the first round, that the NFL has ever seen. And, as we all know from seeing the McDaniels system in action for all the years we did, it's not coaching that has Carr ignoring progressions and basic system concepts.
Raiders were ahead for over 3.5 quarters and it was a low scoring game anyway. Again, didn't watch the game so not sure how much they ran it, just saying what the complaint is from the fans. When you're ahead, you run it. When you're behind, you throw it.
