OT: Revis says the Jets should treat him with class

Hm? Revis got picked by the ref. Not on him.

You'd never know that listening to Baldwin on the sideline after the play. When he was asked how he got so wide open he claimed that it's because he's a beast.

Obviously, Revis is an ass........and the Jets are his Charmin

Reading that article, and the way he spoke about HIMSELF (I changed the game), reminds me so much about Rickey Henderson after he broke the stolen base record "I am now the greatest". He is so full of himself, and the class he is asking the Jets for, has literally none of.

Damn, this irony is too much to not comment on.

The best part is he's working on the assumption that the Jest are dumb enough to fall for it.

Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Revis not signing with the Pats and re-signing with the Jets, well....

Revis needs to work on his analogy.

Revis' cap hit next season is 15.33 million. If cut before June 1 the dead money will be 8 million. Post June 1 the dead money will be 6.33 million.
If the Jets had testicular fortitude, they'd not only wait till June 1 to drop him, they'd wait till the last roster cut-down in training camp, after all the free agency money has dried up, to send a message that they won't be used by people like Revis. However, I'm expecting them to continue to play the role of Charmin ( nice one, shmessy !)

The Jets should treat Revis as if it's a business decision. Revis, being a businessman, should understand that.
Naw, they should treat Revis like a scorned lover would, but they won't. As someone once told me, The Jets Suck!

Eh, BB didn't want to let him go. The Patriots offered a nice contract to him. The Jets offered more. But it isn't like BB just cut bait with him immediately. There was interest there.
Interestingly enough (at least to me), the major difference between the NYJ and NEP offers was that the Jets were willing to put guaranteed cash into the 3rd year and the Pats weren't. That third year is next year. Therefore the Pats would have gotten a decent 2015 and a sub-par 2016 out of Mevis (and perhaps more due to peer pressure and/or better management of his decline) whereas the Jets are gonna be out of pocket for 2017 no matter what. The Jets Suck!

Revis should retire and hook up with his twin, LaDunceington Tomlinson. The two of them can launch a nationwide "classy" tour detailing their incredible feats of class.

The Rats were also willing to let Revis know what they would pay while he was still under contract to the Pats.

He reminds me of **** Seymour, using either business or sentimentality whenever it suits him.

LMAO. What comes around goes around. If Revis plays like he did this season, he might be worth vet minimum. There is also a chance that no teams in the league would be interested in signing him.

Why, he wasn't schooled enough this season.

Class is not what Revis should be treated with. This should be dealt with in a business and professional nature. Therefore the Jets should simply sit Revis down and say "we appreciate all you have done for our franchise but we have made a business decision to go in a different direction".

That should be all that is needed.
