Even in Brady’s last statement, people still show that they really hate the guy.The main forum has become so disgusting that I think we should keep this forum open.
We should be celebrating Brady instead of acting petty.
Yeah instead of begging for guaranteed years as Brady was reduced to in his last years in NE, Tampa was begging him to keep on playing.I really don’t blame him because his retirement is about how he feels and his last journey was with Tampa Bay, an organization that gave him a fully guaranteed contract at 43 years old and then put together the team he wanted and gave him control of the offense propelling them to the Lombardi. I can understand in a lot of ways why he wanted to make yesterday about them and them alone.
Boston fans are weird. Big overreaction and this will blow up in their faces. I'm sure there's something big to come, but if not he closed the chapter with us 2 years ago...we shall see.Keep this forum open because the main forum is hard to stomach sometimes. I can see why some may be miffed at not being mentioned but to this degree? He is concentrating on the team that believed in him in the end and when he goes into the HOF you'll get your due. It's sad that you think you need your due but I guess that's the way it is.
His HOF speech is going to be epic and about the Patriots but no that's not good enough for these people. Let all of this be a lesson to other GMs, you don't **** on your star QBs after 20 years of service. The same fans that talk about 'business decisions' and 'a year early' now want the dude they shipped out of town to blow them.Boston fans are weird. I’m not so sure something else is coming. I would’ve thought some thing might’ve dropped yesterday if that was the case. He is out of the country so maybe after the Super Bowl he flies up to see Kraft. But that Retirement announcement was definitely intentional and if that is where his head is at regarding the patriots I am not sure we’re going to see a whole lot more anytime soon. I hope I am wrong though.Boston fans are weird. Big overreaction and this will blow up in their faces. Whatever it is, not a big deal there will be something eventually. Either way the majority of complaints are from "the REAL Pats fans".I’m not so sure something else is coming. There is precedent to it.I’m not so sure something else is coming. I would’ve thought some thing might’ve dropped yesterday if that was the case. Yeah we’ll see how it all turns out. I do hope they are able to put things aside in time. But I really don’t blame Brady at all for not throwing a verbal bouquet at them during his retirement. There is precedent to it.
I believe Favre wanted nothing to do with the Packers until a couple years ago.
And Manniny identifies as a fe,. I mean Broncos over the Colts.
The biggest one is we literally had no succession plan for when he left.Brady does have legitimate gripes though that built up over the years.
Banning of Guerrero.
Coaches and trainers complaining about his TB12 method.
Getting rid of Brady's favorite targets without adequate replacement.
Drafting JG to replace him.
Beliebing JG can do everything Brady can seamlessly.
Coaches would have kept JG over Brady if not for Kraft.
Coaches thinking that Brady was a system QB.
Coaches thinking he was washed up.
Not going all in.
Not forcefully backing him up during deflategate. They basically tried to hide and left Brady alone in the limelight.
May well be true but considering it came from agenda obsessed Ted Johnson, I'm skeptical.Lol
Ted Johnson details Robert Kraft's furious reaction to Brady's retirement post
According to our Ted Johnson, Patriots owner Robert Kraft was incensed that Tom Brady failed to mention New England in his initial NFL retirement announcement Tuesday morning.www.nbcsports.com
It’s his fault for not having the spine to tell Bill to resign Brady no matter what. He keep Brady like he is his son but when he had to put his neck out for him, he passed.May well be true but considering it came from agenda obsessed Ted Johnson, I'm skeptical.
Plus I don't care a whit about Kraft's reaction.
Me, I'm sad Tom didn't play one more year and I deeply miss watching The GOAT play wherever.
