OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

every ****ing year since 2011 we see the pre season NFC picks and it’s mainly the packers. Rodgers couldn’t even get them to a super bowl appearance let alone win one lmao

I just posted those “expert picks” that had like 17 of 20 picking the Packers to win the NFC. The thing is, their defense was abaolutely legit…lol…Rodgers is such a loser.

The post game analysts:

"In Green Bay, the special teams really let the Packers down, as San Francisco wins 13-10"

Me:

Wait.... When Brady lost in 2007, despite his ankle sprain and hit offense being hit by injuries, I was told it was Brady and the offense's fault for not scoring more than 14 points. But it's Packers' special teams' fault when Aaron and his offense only puts up 10?

Brady and the Bucs really need to win tomorrow, so we can have the "Well, at least the Patriots have Mac Jones" bowl next week.

That's not to bag on the Patriots, but just to be able to see all the ways that story line gets pushed by the media.

Fraudgers continues to be the most overrated sportsman ever. More at 12.

The Bucs are a win away from hosting the NGCCG against the 49ers...imagine saying that a month ago. Incredible turn of events. The 49ers gave the Bucs home field in the divisional by beating the Rams, and now gave them home field throughout the NFC.

Kudos to the 49ers, three away wins against the Rams, Cowboys and Packers. Completely deserved appearance in the Tom Brady invitational.

The recent Saints and Packers combined are twice the 2000s Colts.
You can't compare Manning to these 2. Manning at least found a way to beat Brady and NE. No matter the injuries in 2006 for us or 2013 and 2015. We were beaten in all those playoff games but he got it done. Rodgers would of lost ALL those games. Manning is an all time great, truly. I know he's hated here but he is unreal. Rodgers will be forgotten long before Manning. Manning went to 4 superbowls and going to a superbowl is worth something. Jim Kelly is not garbage because he lost 4, he had the balls to get to 4.

Manning was a worthy adversary. The guy that Brady had to pass first before he could be in the GOAT conversation with Montana.

Its illegal now to say Rodgers is the goat.

Manning won precisely because the Patriots were so wounded. Without that, Manning almost certainly loses at least 2 of those 3 games, and doesn't get to those Super Bowls.

Sorry, but I'm not giving him credit over Rodgers, or anyone else, because of some supposed "Rodgers wouldn't have done that" scenario.

Manning is 100x Rodgers. At least he has the balls to throw it and change the play. I don't think Rodgers knows what's going on out there or ever does anything but switch to a run if it's obvious.

Manning was never afraid to throw an interception. You can’t deny that.
I respected Mannings game. Now Eli is another matter. He was never a good Qb except for 2 second half seasons.

Jimmy G was great in that last fourth quarter in that final drive he was fantastic

Manning is 100x Rodgers.

No

I was pointing out the failures of the Saints and Packers compared to the 2000s Colts. The Saints and Packers won in 2009 and 2010. Neither even made it back to a Suoer Bowl despite year after year of regular season success.
