OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

I've never gambled before but I've been convinced to place a few bets and my first order of business today:

It’ll be nice to relax after you win in the first quarter.

If Brady and the Bucs repeat I wonder what Kraft will be thinking. Doubt he would consider firing Bill for letting Brady go (and that would not be a good idea) but I can’t imagine Kraft won’t be at least a little cranky.

Belichick is still the best coach of all time IMO. BUT it is very reasonable to question if his priorities regarding the kinds of players and philosophies he has always coached on defense are still the way to win in this league. But good god no of course he isn’t fired.

But the worst nightmare for Belichick is definitely a Brady vs Bills Super Bowl IMO.

Ya he's not fired. You don't follow the biggest blunder in league history with another. The fact that BB ****ed up doesn't mean we double down and get rid of him. He's needed.

I think the Bills did BB and the patriots a huge favor. A win or a close loss would have suggested we’re ready to compete now. They put the spotlight on everything wrong with the roster and everything that it could be with a successful rebuild.

Feels like BB is gonna be watching a lot of tape of that game this winter.

Totally agree. It will be interesting though to see Kraft’s reaction with a Brady repeat.

Would of been nice if the next team in the divisional round could of done them the 'favor' though, lol.

He can't be on Kupp, SMB gives up HUGE plays and he's been hurt. Dean is the fastest DB they have and Davis is the best. Probably lots of zone with some situational man and maybe Dean on Kupp in those instances?

They are a better team in man they better not zone up put Davis/Winfield on Kupp that should eliminate him and have Dean on OBJ.

Regulas season stats were important to Manning, Favre, Brees. They stop games when they had hit milestones.

They never did that for Brady, so I wonder how important it is for him. Well he went chasing for his 600th TD ball so there's that.

I wonder if he looked at especially Herbert's stats and realized his regular season records will be easy to beat 15-20 years down the road if he doesn't play at least one more year.
I've thought about that too. The rules changes means his records won't stand, but every season he plays he can at a minimum toss another 35 TDs & 4k yards on the pile. I hope he keeps playing

To make room for Fournette, #Bucs waived RB Le'Veon Bell, while elevating WR John Brown and...this is interesting...QB Ryan Griffin from practice squad.

I visited a few other team forums and it's pretty bad what other teams say about Brady. Basically they would love for him to drop dead or get hit by a car. They think every game he plays in is rigged. At first I thought that the posters must be children but I don't think so.
I find PFT comments are generally not as anti Brady as they used to be. Still has its trolls and their sock puppet accounts post the usual stuff there but it’s not like it was.

They waived Bell to make room for a 3rd QB because he 'deserves it'? What if Lenny does down and Vaughn fumbles out of the game? Just seems like a stupid decision.

Bernard's a full go.

Has to be a joke right? What a moronic thing to do.

Then again, they played Ronald Jones over Fournette for 2/3rds of last seaosn because he's "the starter."

Yeah that's true but just in general I would not waive Bell for a 3rd string QB elevation that isn't needed and can stay on the practice squad. If they needed to elevate a position of need then so be it but this sounds stupid IF it's true.

Bell will be there Monday if they need him for next week.
