If this is true then they probably just put him on IR so another team doesn't claim him.
Yeah now that I think about it stepping back Arians made a big mistake saying that. I would of said to the media something along the lines of "we are looking into it and will make a decision" instead of that definite statementTough to do if AB doesn't want it, because of Arians words about him no longer being a Buc.
Brady has six games against teams that rank top-6 in EPA/play against the pass. Rodgers has two games against teams that rank in the top 11
Bucs have activated receiver Jaelon Darden off the reserve/COVID-19 list. He’d missed the last two games while on there. Now just punter Bradley Pinion remains.
The Bucs feel "very optimistic" RB Leonard Fournette will be back for the playoffs, while I was told they feel "hopeful" LB Lavonte David will be ready for the post season, per sources. Both are still on IR.
Let’s revisit the Jets 4th & 2 call. My guy @willcolon66 called it a selfish play by Zach Wilson to call his own number and he’s right. NOTHING about the look the defense presented would say the QB sneak was the right move. Wilson tried to win it himself.
File this under "Things that should matter when evaluating QBs for the MVP vote, but pretty much never do":
He's important vs any team. David is extremely underrated. Top 5 LBer in the league easily and a tremendous leaderDavid would be really important against the Eagles or 49ers
they'll just shout blindly "TD/INT ratio! passer rating! team record!" while ignoring any and all context and adanced statsThe Interceptions he threw that were either dropped by the receivers or bounced of their hands should be taken into account too. Brady would only have 7 INTs in the year if that was the case since the voters are looking at Rodgers TD:INT ratio
They have been saying cause Brady has been throwing the ball more his stats are up due to volume...well doesn't that tell you that the team relies on that QB more than the other? Isn't that what MVP stands for? Brady throws more because he needs to Rodgers running game is way better than Tom's.they'll just shout blindly "TD/INT ratio! passer rating! team record!" while ignoring any and all context and adanced stats

yup. Rodgers also is near the top in his guys getting YAC, and also throwing to players with the most seperation. and as people have posted ITT he's played a way easier schedule of defenses. They have been saying cause Brady has been throwing the ball more his stats are up due to volume...well doesn't that tell you that the team relies on that QB more than the other? good for him. I hope (but doubt) other voters think this way. not just for that reason though because there are too many reasons to list where Brady is actually the true MVP other than just being an idiot and looking blindly at passer rating and TD/INT ratioThis is interesting.
One MVP voter says he won't vote for Aaron Rodgers, calling him "the biggest jerk in the league"
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is the favorite to win the league's MVP award.profootballtalk.nbcsports.com
I was just going through recent MVP voting and saw 2009... lol
Manning 39.5 votes
Brees 7.5 votes
Rivers 2 votes
