OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Packers get a shell of a Ravens team without Jackson and then play the Browns on 5 days rest.

Should give Rodgers comeback player of the year as well after the trial and tribulations he faced through such a difficult offseason.
Rodgers deserves MVP for playing through a hurt toe. I'm sure we'll get an update after the game.

Off topic but I read that Lawrence had like like 1 td in last something like 7 games. There is no coaching in the world that accounts for that. Meanwhile Mac makes mistakes and they do limit him but he at least appears to be improving and is able to produce. Lawrence is a bust. You can make mistakes but no good plays either?

Looks like a bust to me. Manning had 26 TDs along with his oft-cited 28 INTs rookie year. Lawrence has done nothing with his long leash.

Live odds, Rodgers moved from -500 to -400, from about 17% to 20% to win MVP.

Starting to wonder if the Covid thing may have some effect on the voting. It isn’t just that…it’s how he’s been yelling and screaming at reporters for the last year, whining that they’re not reporting facts, though usually they are reporting facts he doesn’t like.

Anyway, Brady has four games left. It’s far from over, but he’s still firmly in the lead. Hopefully he won’t barf on himself against the Saints again.

He needs to clear this game and I can be confident in saying he'll be MVP. Maybe a 250+ yards 2TD+ type of win

#Bucs inactives are out and the biggest losses are in the secondary again: S Antoine Winfield (ankle) and CB Jamel Dean (illness). QB Kyle Trask, RB Kenjon Barner and CB Richard Sherman (Achilles) also inactive.

Factoid of the Evening: Tom Brady needs one TD pass tonight to tie Vinny Testaverde (77) for the third-most in #Bucs history. Testaverde spent six seasons in Tampa; Brady hasn't even played two.

Tonight's milestone watch: #Gronk needs 18 receiving yards to become only the fifth TE with 9,000 for his career (Tony Gonzalez, Jason Witten, Antonio Gates, Shannon Sharpe). #Bucs

Bucs stick with rookie Jaelon Darden on returns after elevating Kenjon Barner from the practice squad but keeping him inactive. WR Scotty Miller is also active tonight with Breshad Perriman on reserve/COVID-19 list.

And cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson will make his Bucs debut tonight -- likely just on special teams. Bucs have Carlton Davis and Sean Murphy-Bunting outside and likely Ross ****rell in nickel, and Pierre Desir and Dee Delaney are also active as backups.

I missed the first half but I see it's more of the same. Should be able to win only 6 down.

Ehm Godwin and Evans out wtf. My God

You need to watch. Both godwin & Evans got injured. Brady getting sacked and nobody besides Gronk & Fornette to throw to.

Im watching now and I expects some ints if hes going to Miller or Johnson but thankfully only 6 down no rush

I’m not ready to call him a bust, but its clear he was massively overrated. Sure he’s playing on a bad team, but so is Mills, and he‘s managed to have a decent year for a rookie. Mills might turn out to be the second best QB from this class.

Is fournette hurt too now? Tampa looks scared and NO is all over them. Get the feeling tho that one big play changes that but who will make it.

Refs allowing everything so be it. At the end of the season NO may be happy they at least cost TB big. They are hitting low and hard and what are the odds all 3 of those guys are going to be ok.
