OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

My god can we just have a covid thread instead putting that **** in here literally no reason covid cases from other teams should be filling up 2-3 pages

Players missing from other teams can impact those other teams. Those other teams being impacted can impact the Bus. I mean, for example, you don't think the Saints losing their head coach for this upcoming game is relevant?

And the thread that used to be there for posting the positive tests was deleted.

LOL Florio speculating they'll be cut. Arians is just running his mouth here and nothing more.

Brady wants AB on the field, therefore he'll be on the field. Period, full stop. All hands on deck for a run at a repeat. No way they'll cut him. Nope. Can't see it.

If they are stupid enough to do that it's not rocket science to know what the Packers or Chiefs will do the same day.

He conveniently left out a previous question where he was asked if team would consider additional fines or suspensions and BA said No.

I think having Mike Edwards there with AB would make any unilateral action against AB a very pissed off GOAT.

I'd be pretty upset if I were a Eagles, Raiders, or Seahawks fan. Playing Tuesday then again 5 days later for another team's problem
You have to wonder how much of this has to do with NFL's cuddly relationship with sports betting. You've got to believe there was a bunch of money that went to the Raiders as dogs before they changed the spread.

NFL said they would not do that and that teams would have to forfeit. Shocking the NFL would lie

For DVOA, the Bucs have played the following ranked defenses, and I’m including point total too.

Buffalo (1) - 33
New England (2) - 19
Dallas (3) - 31
New Orleans (5) - 27
LA Rams (6) - 24
Indianapolis (9) - 38
Miami (11) - 45

And they will play Carolina (10) twice along with the Saints again. That’s 10 games against top 11 defenses.

Thanks for posting I had seen something similar somewhere. The offense has definitely done its job this year. Do you have access to the same list for the defense?

In addition to losing a play caller as good as Saints coach Sean Payton, who is out with COVID-19, New Orleans will be workout both starting offensive tackles.

Final #Bucs #Saintsinjury report, which does not include Saints coach Sean Payton, who’s out (COVID-19)

Thanks. So looks like defense has played against these teams in the top 10 of DVOA offenses.

LAR
IND
DAL
PHI
NE

I don't get PHI at all but then again I'm not watching them.

And they’ve generally failed against these offenses, though they’ve had those injuries.

Really? How do you figure they generally failed against these offenses?

34 points to the Rams, where they couldn’t stop anything.

31 points to the Colts, where they were extremely fortunate the offense was so dominant.

29 points to the Cowboys, nearly blowing a huge lead, and allowing the would-be game winning score.

22 points to the Eagles, though much of that came later in the game with a huge lead.

17 points to the Patriots. They played well in that one, though the Patriots largely controlled the ball and time of possession.

Overall, 26.6 points allowed. I guess that’s a lot closer to average than bad. The Saints, with Winston, were in the top 10 range on offense as well, though they’ve sank since then.
