OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

I'd guess Roller coaster is Santa Monica Pier...so I'd say LA.
Chargers still have the money to work it out

Rams I can see them bringing him in too and do cap magic like the Saints

The Bucs did not try to match what the Jets offered Jordan Whitehead, nor did they extend an offer, I’m told, although they conveyed that they were happy with him at the NFL combine. Multiple assistants also told me how valuable they felt he was to their defense.

I have not gotten an explanation from the Bucs on why an offer wasn’t extended to Jordan Whitehead but I’m told that the team conveyed to his representatives at the combine that they wanted him back.

Bush Gardens has roller coasters but you're probably right.

Could be Bush Gardens. If it was a ferris wheel I'd say Santa Monica Pier for sure.

Bucs GM Jason Licht said at the NFL combine that they’d “leave a light on” for Tom Brady. But they weren’t very optimistic he’d return then. More on how his return went down,

If this happens it needs to happen like right now than to sign Allen Robinson

It's just reaction to a hypothetical. I don't have any inside info on this, but I doubt Brady would be coming back without Godwin.

I find the Mason info interesting on two fronts

  1. It keeps his cap space available until he is officially brought in, allowing for deals to be made without needing immediate re-structures
  2. It keeps open the possibility of cap maneuvering with his deal

Honestly given his injury history I wouldn't hate to see him go, especially if a player like Jarvis Landry could be had for half the price.

Not saying I don't want him, just that the cap savings might be worth it

Would the reverse apply to the Pats?

How is this an article? How is someone actually paid to write that article with that headline? It's fan tweet replies. It's drivel...

So officially, Bucs didn’t turn in new deal with guard Aaron Stinnie yet, so while they have agreed to terms, he is listed as an unsigned free agent by NFL’s count.

BIG DEAL HERE: Free Agent TE Rob Gronkowski at a Tampa Barber Shop says, “there’s a very good chance” he’ll be back w/ #Bucs Mentions making @TomBrady sweat, because he made Gronk wait a couple months payback style

Would the reverse apply to the Pats?

For the first part, yes. He'll stay on the Patriots cap until the deal is finalized.
