We have treated our former stars much better than most other cities. The majority of fans in the stadium in the Pats-Bucs game were wearing Brady jerseys. Many people were expecting a Lebron-Cleveland situation.Boston fans in general tend to treat their athletes like crap after they leave even the greatest of all time.
They need someone to cover Pitts.Won't need him. Next game against the Bills they might.
Its very very true. In fact boston fans tend to treat their stars like crap even when they are here, especially in the media.Thats just not true. We have treated our former stars much better than most other cities. The majority of fans in the stadium in the Pats-Bucs game were wearing Brady jerseys. Many people were expecting a Lebron-Cleveland situation.
Their secondary has been trashed all year, I am sure they will survive another game with it being trashed. They need someone to cover Pitts.
Bucs make the move to sign Breshad Perriman from their practice squad, presumably to take the roster spot of Antonio Brown, who is on the suspended list.
I'm sensing NFL was threatening much longer suspension but relented to 3 games when Brown waived appeal.
Well, the last time he targeted Perriman didn't work out very well. But maybe Perriman will actually hold on to the ball this time.Brady has Perriman and Darden as targets for his "TD passes to different receiver" list.
One game is one thing. This board and the media? Quite another.Thats just not true. We have treated our former stars much better than most other cities. The majority of fans in the stadium in the Pats-Bucs game were wearing Brady jerseys. Many people were expecting a Lebron-Cleveland situation.
Arians was asked how significant Jordan Whitehead's calf injury is and he said "very." They won't get an MRI until Saturday to let swelling go down. Bucs have Chris Cooper and Troy Warner on practice squad -- one is likely up Sunday as fourth safety now.
Arians said Ross ****rell has been working at safety (where he was in training camp/preseason) for a while and would be in position to step in with injuries there. ****rell and Andrew Adams are most experienced options to line up opposite Winfield on Sunday.
It looks like Carlton Davis will be activated from injured reserve to take spot opened up by Aaron Stinnie going on IR. Breshad Perriman takes Brown’s spot while he’s suspended. Bucs could keep last spot on 53 open, just elevate from practice squad Sunday as needed.
Jamel Dean looks to be full-go at practice today, which is encouraging on perhaps the biggest question mark. Carlton Davis, Ali Marpet, Will Gholston, Devin White all seem fine.
The NFL player's union is by far the weakest in the major prof sports. They've allowed the league to be judge, jury, and executioner.I’m not sure how “promise not to appeal or we’ll punish you more severely” isn’t unfairly punitive but the CBA allows the league to basically do whatever it wants.
Buccaneers cornerback Carlton Davis officially is back and ready to return to the lineup Sunday.
The Bucs activated Davis from injured reserve Friday.
Davis has not played since Week 4 when he injured a quadriceps. In his fourth season, the former second-round choice has 15 tackles, an interception and five passes defensed in four games this season...
