Some of you got to know MrsPFnV through the old PoFo, or just around the boards until a few years ago. She passed away yesterday morning after a long illness. She always looked for the best in all of us. She'd deny it, but she was the best of us. For those who remember her, let her memory be a blessing.

I am so, so sorry. I’ve thought of you both ever since closing the Political Forum, especially after finding out what was going on with her as that was the place she interacted with everyone the most. She was definitely one of the kindest people I’ve ever had the chance to interact with on here and I feel lucky to have even known her. Definitely thinking of you and the rest of your family :(

On my God. So sorry to hear this news. Although there’s nothing I can say to alleviate your loss, may her memory always burn bright in you.

She had a kind heart, a gentle soul, and a keen intellect. That much at least came out in the old forum.

PatsFanInVa:

Sorry for your loss ...
Her memory will live on in me.
She... so honest and a blessing to my opinions at that time.
Absolutely .... always enjoyed all of our conversations ....
The lone woman in a political forum ...
She enjoyed lacing up her gloves and we all were the better for it.

Thanks to all. I'm going out and grabbing my first beer in about 5 years but I could not go without thanking the folks who've stopped in so far for their kind thoughts and words. And yeah Icy, she could lace 'em up, and she could pummel the hell out of you in an argument, but I don't know if I ever saw her hold a grudge. Maybe I'm biased. She wanted to kick your butt because you were wrong, not because she hated you (and by you I mean anybody who got in the cross-hairs of a MrsPFnV fact-seeking barrage :D)

I don't want to go on the canonization crusade... I see that far too often when people lose someone. But d%#*!@t, she was a saint :D

Everybody raise a glass when you get the chance, sew a MrsPFnV patch on your jersey, and dedicate your season to her memory :D

Yawl don't really have to

So sorry for your loss.

I am very sorry to hear about your loss. My prayers for the whole family, stay strong!

I’m sorry for your loss, god bless you.

Since my father passed away at 49 I’ve always felt death was a reason to celebrate life, not to mourn passing. Best wishes to you to do so and focus on the life rather than the end of it. (Or this phase of it)

May you know God's peace in this sad time, my friend. My she rest in the arms of the Lord.

Geez, sorry for your loss. At least you had the honor of knowing her well.
I've been here for a long time but I never once visited the PoFo, so I don't really recall her. She sounds like a great lady

Condolences for your loss brother. You have my word that a glass will be raised in her memory today. It is apparent how much love and admiration you have in the way you write about her. I wish you the best moving forward and if you ever need to talk, I’m sure I speak for everyone in saying we would be honored to be here for you. Whether is be a shoulder to cry on or just a place to tell great stories or memories you have of her.

So sorry to hear the news.

Laura & I were on opposite sides of the political fence, but that didn’t stop her from becoming friends with the opposition.

She told me she was sick and under hospice care a couple years ago.

I remember she did her best to keep us lunitics in line as a mod when we moved the pofo to an alternate site after patsfans shut it down.

Prayers to her family !
