There was bad news coming out of Louisiana on Monday for Patriots fans after The Louisiana Daily Advertiser reported that former LSU defensive end and current Patriot Marquise Hill is now missing after Coast Guard officials told the publication he fell off a jet ski in Lake Ponchartrain near the Seabrook Bridge in New Orleans.
According to the report both Hill and a woman were on the same jet ski at about 9 p.m. Sunday night when they both went overboard. The woman was reportedly rescued by a a nearby boat. Boaters saw Hill briefly in the water, but he disappeared. Hill was still being searched for this morning.
Another report by WWL First News said the Coast Guard early this morning added an aircraft to the search for Hill on the south shore of Lake Pontchartrain.
"We are conducting a first light search with an HH65 rescue helicopter from Air Station New Orleans as well as a small rescue boat," Coast Guard Petty Officer Thomas Atkinson told WWL First News.
The bad news is that Hill reportedly hasn't been spotted since 9 p.m., according to the Coast Guard. The report also said that neither Hill nor the woman were wearing a life jacket.
