Must suck not being able to chuck it up and get a PI every throw now

7 games
5 passing TD's
6 INT's
75.4 Passer rating

5 passing TD's in 308 attempts

He was trash last season too. But he also doesn't have a whole hell of a lot to work with anymore in the way of talented WR's. Flacco has always been overrated but he's decent if you can give him a ****load of weapons to work with. He's definitely not elite.

He's bad to slightly above average in the regular season, but you can't argue with what he's done in the playoffs. He really is a different player.

There are few QBs that can carry a team. Even Rodgers is finding out that it's not so easy when your supporting cast isn't on the same usual level. That said, I think flacco is in the top half of QBs. He always carries himself with confidence (not the arrogant kind) and that's the number 1 thing about being a leader.

Even with the right weapons Flacco is a slightly above average QB. Not top 10 or top 5.

For the next 4 years they are going to pay him ~$100m before they can even think about dumping him in 2020 and they are surrounding him with Mike Wallace, Old Man Steve Smith and Dennis Pitta?

This falls all on the shoulders of Ozzie Newsome.

Their D is actually playing OK.

They'll finish 7-9 or 6-10.

man mike wallace really fell off a cliff after going to miami huh

Geee...wonder why they're not giving him all the weapons....

That's why I'm rooting for Bengals, other AFC West teams to get the wild card spot.

The Ravens are the only team in that conference I want NO part of in the playoffs, home or away. Fortunately they're struggling right now and the last month of heir schedule is murders row.

He has never been very good...last year was a prime example, as the Ravens defense was no longer elite and they were already out of the playoffs when Flacco went down. The thing is, if you look at his passer rating and the Ravens offensive output last year, it was the same as always; the only difference was a mediocre to bad defense and a lot of wins due to that. Flacco is just not that good; maybe average. There was an article posted on one of those football stats sites that showed that an average QB would actually have a better overall record than Flacco when you take defensive PPG into account. Those Ravens defenses with Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Terrell Suggs, and Haloti Ngata won plenty of games on their own.

Sure, he has had some excellent playoff games including that crazy run in 2012-13, but any QB can get hot and play well at any given time. That was clearly not the norm and he didn't "turn a corner" in any way, aside from cashing in on the largest contract in NFL history.

The ravens defense still look's decent at times. I still wouldn't want to play them in the playoffs.

He's never been good. Yet every time we play him, it seems like he looks like a hall of famer against our defense. I hope that changes this year.

Wow, Steelers twice, Bengals twice, Cowboys, Pats, Eagles...7 of their 9 opponents and all four road games are opponents fighting for playoffs ( other two are Miami and Cleveland.) I don't see them making the playoffs.............

How is it even possible to throw just 5 in 7 games in this modern era?

Even the Miami and Cleveland games aren't a shoe in for them to win. They already nearly lost to Cleveland in the first matchup.

It's why I'm kinda looking at Siemian in the same light out in Denver. He looks like an average QB elevated by a strong defense.

Without the running game setting things up, opponents are able to stay back and prevent the balloon passes from killing them.

Not surprisingly, without those passes in the arsenal, the Ravens offense is struggling.
