OT: Antonio Brown suspended for lying about vaccination status

You are seriously seriously stupid if you think for one damn second that more than like 5% of PLAYERS think less of these guys except that they were dumb enough to get caught. You think Aaron Rodgers lost the locker room due to being unvaxxed? No he didn’t lie to the team but he sure as hell lied to everyone else. No one cares.

these dudes in here talking bout he’ll lose friends:rofl::rofl:

BTW this thread should be in the dedicated Antonio Brown forum since it’ll distract innocent eyes from the Patriots related threads. Very rude.

If Aaron Hernandez had had some level of plausible deniability because he had fall guys and authorities willing to cover stuff up he’d have likely never been cut and you know most Pats fans would have defended him still being on the team.

God knows Steelers fans have rooted for Ben for over a decade after his incident and coverup.

Pro Athletes share lockerooms with guys they know for a fact beat the sh.it out of women, affiliate with criminals, and in the Ravens case murder people. They don’t give a single flying crap if someone is vaxxed or not in terms of judging morality.
Judging morality isn’t the issue. Lying about being vaxxed affects the precaution they choose to take/not take, threatens to avoidably infect them. They don’t have to worry about being beaten up by a teammate who abuses domestic partner, busted for criminal associations if they themselves stay clear, or being murdered by a teammate. Well for the latter they might need to avoid a late night group drive to a deserted gravel pit…
other than that why should 5hey care? They’re not the morality police. But lying about infectious health issues is a direct threat to their own health.

Aaron Rodgers and his wife thinks that eating clay helps balance their humors or whatever. You think he’s taking precautions to keep other players safe?

The NFL was supposedly holding NFL teams responsible for violations of the COVID protocols. Shouldn't the Bucs be punished too?
I thought all the covid related penalties were negotiated between the union and the league, thus Kaaron Rodger's tiny penalty.

Tampa's response is the same we had when Cam went out for covid, next man up.

Kinda sucks for Tampa that two WRs are going at the same time, luckily not starters thought.

Yet the fact is that Hernandez was cut only 90 minutes after he was arrested. and BEFORE they knew the charges against him. Doesn't that cut into your argument.

People also ask When did Patriots cut Hernandez?

On June 26, 2013, Hernandez was charged with first-degree murder, in addition to five gun-related charges. The Patriots released Hernandez from the team about ninety minutes later, before officially learning the charges against him.
As to AB, the NYFL just did TB a big favor and this overly talented scumbag will be laughing at the rest of us all during the playoffs. THAT's what pisses me off. On the other hand Buc's fans will have a justified complaint when they compare what AB got to what that other POS, Aaron Rodgers, got away with in GB.

The US appeals court ruled that the NFL could suspend Tom Brady, not because he was guilty, but because they COULD. In the NFL guilt or innocence is that Roger Goodell says it is. There doesn't have to be any proof. Brady's case proved that. It is completely arbitrary. So is the justice or rather injustice in the Antonio Brown case.

But I'm willing to bet he'll be more likely to pay his employees now. BTW- I wonder how Tom will respond to the inevitable questions he's going to get on this topic.

Simply sharing a locker room with someone is very different than being friends with them. Also, pro athletes arent as morally challenged as you are making them out to be. They actually commit a much lower rate of crime than the general population.

Are you sure? I don't see any reason why that would be the case?
