man so like,

how did his uncle get the car and weapon used in the double murder?
Here's the Patriots' official statement on the matter

So he's still murdered exactly as many people as Ray Lewis and Marvin Harrison each have murdered.

Not guilty means no $3 million in cap relief for Pats.. IIRC the conviction would have meant when he signed his extension, he was in breach stating he had done nothing that would prevent him from performing for the team.. ( I e killed someone that could expose him to a
Conviction)

I think the gun charge might be enough.

So he claims he was the driver of the car from which these people were shot by his accomplice and in which he drove the person he said shot them away? I am pretty sure this would do as well.

Scumbag's still going to be incarcerated the rest of his life regardless.

Is he though?

Wasn't the whole Lloyd case based off of AH killing lloyd because he was gonna "rat" out AH for these killings?

Well he was just found not guilty of the double murder. Doesn't that throw out this case? I'm honestly asking.

More details coming in:

Blood spatter analyst on the scene determined there was no match.

Wait, he's one for three...that's good, in baseball.

Plus, needs to specify "ex-Patriot"

P.S. You just know that if Aaron had played 100 games each, for the Ravens and Dolphins, and was signed to the Pat's practice squad before being cut after 48 hours, the ESPN headline would still read: "Former Patriots player Aaron Hernandez...."

What are AH's chances of getting a quitted for original charge?

He killed Lloyd personally because Lloyd was talking to people he didn't like. Had nothing to do with these murders; you're thinking of the alleged shooting of Bradley, who did (ultimately) rat him out, though the jury seems to have determined that Bradley was the shooter and Hernandez merely the getaway driver and possible instigator. This is more like the Ray Lewis situation, where he was involved and maybe even instigated it but wasn't the guy who pulled the trigger or stabbed the knife. The persecution went for murder here even though accessory would have stuck because there was little downside (given he's already doing life without parole) and much glory to be won if they got the conviction.

There's very little chance he wins on appeal in the Lloyd case. There was so little doubt in that case that he may as well have jumped up and down screaming that he did it in the courtroom like a Law and Order episode.

Guess he finally caught another pass.

No. The motive for why Hernandez murdered Odin Lloyd is irrelevant to his conviction beyond convincing the jury of his guilt; what matters is that the jury was convinced he did it, and voted to convict.

It's also possible to read this as the jury thinks both Hernandnez and Bradley are a pair of lying scumbags, each of whom is fingering the other for the murder, and being unable to determine which one is being truthful here. "Beyond a reasonable doubt" is a very high standard.

I hope to god that you never serve on any kind of jury.

The verdict changes nothing about his situation. That is the key factor. Also you can disagree with me but I do wonder if it was a family member of yours who was murdered and you knew the guy did it (everyone knows he did) and the jury came back not guilty if that would change your feelings on the matter.

At the very least he gets to spend a long long time in prison. Cold comfort though.

Just curious - has Baez done something in particular beyond representing AH to earn your judgment of eternal damnation?

Edit: just read earlier in the thread where you mentioned that Baez represented Casey Anthony.
I'm pretty sure this is the 6th or 7th case where he represented a first degree homicide case and got the person off of that specific charge.

Everyone spoke of how raw and inexperienced he was during the Casey Anthony trial, and at that time, she was still his 5th client who was not convicted of the first degree murder charge, specifically.
