Colts 7-0 record is against opponents with a current .515 winning percentage (17-33). Of those 7 teams, 1 has a winning record, 0 are .500 and 6 are below .500.
Pats 5-2 record is against opponents with a current .785 winning percentage (22-28). Of those 7 teams, 3 have a winning record, 1 is .500 and 3 are below .500.
Bad math.
Colts opponents winning percentage is .340
Pats opponents winning percentage is .440
The Colts are overrated, as they are most seasons.
The problem with a statement like that would be saying the same thing about the Pats as long as Tom is around. As long as Peyton is there the Colts are always going to be a quality team. They are always going to be in any game they play because he gives them the ability to put points on the board in a hurry.
Then you combine Reggie and Dallas with him and You get a very potent offense. They are playing different ball this year and hitting a lot more short routes and tougher pass plays rather then the traditional timing route. They have run many more bubble screens this year then the past 7 years combined as we have some people who can pick up some yardage with that.
They are 7-0 so they should be ranked near the top of the league and there is a reason the phrase Any given sunday holds true.
The next 5 games of the season is where the real bread and butter of the schedule is and where we will really see what this Colts team is about.
That being said I think the schedule set up very nice for the Colts with all the changes in the offseason (head coach, defensive coordinator, wide receivers, defensive tackles, secondary, etc, etc) that they had the easier portion of the schedule early to get some confidence going because confidence can win games.

Again, "overrated" refers to the aggregate "rating" or "spin" perpetrated by the "experts" to their 7-0 record.
Are the Colts good, great, or all universe? Who knows. We will learn that over the next few weeks. Beating up on the league dregs doesn't tell us that much. It tells us even less with their history of playoff collapses.
A few weeks ago, the Giants were the "giants" of the league. Amazing how the Bucs, Chiefs, Raiders, and 'skins can elevate a team in the power rankings.
I haven't seen anyone say the Colts where all world or universe, the Media has been all over the Saints and Giants from what I have seen then just the Saints, the Colts seem to be the leftovers to the national media.
Either you're lying or you're horrible at paying attention.
I don't watch ESPN, I watch NFL network and they haven't gushed over the Colts I am also square in the middle of Giants/Jets/Eagles country.
I want you to point out where I said ESPN.
I didn't say you did, I was merely pointing out that I don't watch one of the major sports networks so if that is what you were talking about I wouldn't have seen it.
Relax man, no hostility here.
