Damn. Not the Flu.

Wash your hands!

7 OUTs? Does that mean 3 people across multiple days, or 7 people out today?

Says 7 guys were noted as OUT on the injury report this time last year. None this year means they may have changed their policy on illnesses. Which means virtually minimal to none missed games.

I hope Blount recovers. I'd really rather not rely on Bolden at running back. Lewis could probably start though and do okay.

Not to mention Brady was removed from today's report

Wouldn't be surprised if Mitchell is an inactive for Saturday's game

Yeah, that sucks that he hurt his knee..I hope he can make the AFCCG/SB if all goes well.

Also, noticed Bouye, possibly their best corner is limited today with a groin after being a full participant yesterday. I'm sure he will play, but still something to keep on the lookout.

Any local update for the weather game time?

Anyone else concerned that the team may be overestimating the Texans? They will end up playing too hard and could cost themselves the game by giving the Texans players more respect than needed.

I've never heard of such a thing. If anything it's the opposite and the concern would be overconfidence. Hopefully the team has that under control more than some of the fans here. The Jets playoff loss at Gillette should have taught all of us that lesson.

I'm just ****ing around, do we actually know if they were overconfident against the Jets? Jets played a hell of a game and Rex had an excellent game plan. Brady was a bit overconfident vs the Giants the first time maybe but not sure they overlooked the Jets.

Good question. They had just crushed them a few weeks before and really laid on the trash talk at the end. That was the blowout when Brady and other Pats players mocked the Jets flying routine. No way to know exactly how that affected the Jets later but it had to fire them up.

One other potential contributing factor to that Jets loss was Belichick benching Welker at the beginning. Belichick didn't anticipate the negative reaction he got from his team for that dumb idea. He helped take his own teams' heads out of the game at the beginning.
