NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION OFFICIAL Super Bowl Bucs/Chiefs Game Thread

The one thing that hasn't been part of this narrative is how instrumental Bill was to building Brady. Just like John Wayne becoming John Wayne with John Ford's help,

Dude, no way. John Ford sucked ass and treated Wayne like ****. You should see John Wayne in "Red River." That's when Ford woke up and realized he had greatly underestimated Wayne and did right by him with "Searchers."

The one thing that hasn't been part of this narrative is how instrumental Bill was to building Brady. Just like John Wayne becoming John Wayne with John Ford's help, Brady the GOAT was a creation that few could see coming. Without New England's coaches and some luck with Bledsoe going down, Brady never may have even become a starter let alone the GOAT.

Brady still moves ahead of Belichick in terms of importance, but I think we should sing Belichick's praises the more Brady wins rather than bash the coach who helped build the most successful player of all-time (and many other successful players).
I lean towards giving Brady the lion's share of the credit. Dude has more super bowls than any franchise. He changed the entire culture of the Bucs team. I say again: greatest athlete in North American sports history. And Bill pushed him out the door with 5TD broken down Cam Newton as the replacement. I will beat this drum until the day I die. The most unforgivable, arrogant decision by Bill and it just blew up in his face like ****ing Hiroshima.

I think people are getting ahead of themselves. Bill didn't get to move to a top tier roster, so I'm not buying that this proves much other than Brady still had talent.

Let's be honest here - Brady wanted out, just like Gronk wanted out. Bill is a hardliner and some players just have enough eating humble pie.
That top tier roster was 7-9 without him.

Did anyone notice when Brady started yelling at sideline "No, no, no" when they changed personnel right before the TD to Brown. He changed the call to what he wanted.
I didn’t notice. Will rewatch.

Bet guy that bet $2.3M is happy as ****

The problem wasn’t Cam Newton, it was planning to go into the season with Jarrett Stidham as the starter. Forcing Cam to be signed.

This year proved even Bill cannot win with a crap QB. I doubt any coach could.

Wasn’t the only Chiefs loss this year on a Hail Mary, not counting the last game where they didn’t play anybody? Would’ve been one more element to it if they came into this 18-0

Kinda crappy they didn’t do the usual Lombardi processional
